I just conpleted a 6 week challenge promotion program hosted by Mike Todd Fitness. Although the last week I have been traveling, I have kept the lessons I learned from this community in mind and didnt go crazy. So I have officially lost about 13 pounds and 5.6% body fat. I call this a success and win. Mike Todd and his fitness program has been a life-changing experience and I will cherish this and continue this journey. I have to confess after my final weigh-in and body fat check, I ate quite a bit today but not to worry because I will get right back on track ;) One thing I want to share is this: I always wondered what it took to do something like this challenge. How people just started to make that turn in life and say "no more, im sick of the old me". I always thought there was a magic answer. Then during this challenge many had asked me, how I (just like that) stopped having desserts (bc literally I would have a dessert after EVERY SINGLE meal) altogether. And it's simple. I just did. It turns out there is NO magic answer, silver bullet solution, so we need to stop chasing that. You just do it, you just start. That's how I did it and I believe many here did and all of us are a better version of ourselves today. You can do it too. Just say that you will and take that leap of faith. Trainers at Mike Todd Fitness is ready to take us on the most incredible life-altering journey.

Mike and Bo are fantastic trainers! As someone who didn't have much knowledge around the gym when I first started, I was pretty nervous to begin training but am SO glad I decided to do so with Mike Todd Fitness. I've been able to watch my body change in ways I didn't think possible and these two have been instrumental in giving me the tools to do so! Not to mention how friendly and welcoming they are, making the whole gym experience way less intimidating. Whether you're experienced or super inexperienced, Mike Todd Fitness is definitely a great decision. (Also they're super funny and fun to hang out with!)

Personal training is a considerable investment both monetarily and physically. Everyone definitely wants to spend the money and effort wisely. There is no doubt that my experience with Mike and his team is worth every penny :). Here are the reasons:

Firstly, this is a training for body and it is a HEALTH decision - I don't want to achieve certain physical goals at the expense of harming myself,. Hence the bottom-line criteria for me is to choose a trainer who knows his/her stuff well. I checked Mike's profile and compared it against several others in the city (strongly advised newbies to do so). I found that he had a rich knowledge base in both the training itself and the nutrition, which led me to approach his team at the beginning. The subsequent training sessions with him proved so. He is not a type of trainer who only demos exercises and just pushes your limit. He talks about the sciences behind them - which parts of the the body I am practicing; why I should avoid certain incorrect postures which can hurt my joints; how I should adapt exercises to not to exacerbate my old injuries. He is very professional and I trust the training and health advice his team provides.

Secondly, a personal trainer needs to be PERSONAL - the training session should be tailored to a particular client, and Mike/his team again aces at this. Everyone's has different goals and different bodies. Mike didn't get us to start the session immediately, but he arranged a complementary session first, surveying my physical goals and assessing my physical conditions thoroughly. So Mike knew clearly what I can't do and my body limits even before I started the first actual session. More importantly, they do know me as a person and they keep track of my progress - so I don't feel that I am just "another client'. Mike and his team follows up with me the next day after the training. They pay close attentions to any recent physical changes/injuries or questions/concerns I have. They even remember some personal stories I shared during the break time. After all, they are just really nice, easygoing and people. Do get me wrong, they can be really "evil" and push me to do excruciating combos when I am trying to be lazy :)

If you are looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend to give Mike Todd Fitness a shot. There is no need to make a commitment right away. When I started, I called him directly and tried only 4 sessions just to see him in action and clear my doubts. If all of these reviews are giving you headache, I think you should do the same. However, I bet I will agree with me that he and his team is enjoyable to work with and worth every penny.

Mike is a phenomenal trainer. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, punctual and reliable. He is a great motivator and extremely fit---fit in the attainable, "I can look like him" way, not in the professional body builder way.

Mike also cultivates a great sense of community among his clients through his emails, facebook page, and sharing his network's successes and milestones.

He is extremely reliable, never cancels and is always on time. He is never pushy and always gives genuine advice. I can always shoot mike a text, a real time question, and discuss goals at any point with him. I highly recommend Mike Todd Fitness.

Mike was the BEST personal trainer I've ever worked with and helped me make significant progress toward weight loss goals in a quick but still healthy amount of time. I saw other trainers, did tons of workout classes, and did not start seeing results until I started seeing Mike. He places a good emphasis on diet and takes a very balanced approach. He pushes you to your limit but not in an annoying way & still makes it all feel achievable. Highly recommend Mike!

Aside from the times I hate him for making me push myself and continue to work harder .......The Mike Todd Program is a really great program!!! Very friendly & intelligent guy who is always flexible with my schedule and makes sure to make his clients his top priority. For someone such as myself who hadn't worked out in years, I was glad to be able to work with someone who was very knowledgeable in both health and fitness. He also has a great team that works with him as well. He's always offering great deals on his site too, so you should def check those out. Highly recommend!
