You get what you pay for... The nicest club in the area. Great Equipment and clan. The other clubs in the area like NYSC and Crunch are a dump. All the trainers are nice except for the weird Asian ones and the black one.

Ok, so as a disclaimer, I'm posting these reviews for my reference. I have an All Access Membership, and I want to visit as many of these as I can, to see which one I like most/would like to go to.
My interests are powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, swimming, so my reviews will be geared towards that.

For comparison's sake, I have been to the following so far:
Equinox West 92nd
Equinox West 76th
Equinox Highline
Equinox East 63rd
Equinox Columbus Circle
Equinox Park Avenue
Equinox Flatiron
Equinox Gramercy
Equinox Tribeca

Fairly small, the entrance is impressive, has a lot of space, but I feel like they could have used it better. There is one floor for lifting, it is narrow but long. Fairly well spread out. It was okay.

Out of 10:
Size: 5
Luxury: 5
Equipment: 7

I hold the membership at Equinox West 50th street for 5 months. It provides fair service. But this site is slightly over crowded during the first few days of every week. And some popular classes are not easy to book.

Extremely crowded. Bizarre classes. A pain to cancel membership. Seriously one of the dumbest things I have ever signed up for.

I regret getting a membership here. It is painfully uncomfortable in these gyms. The staff, the music, the classes, the gym floor... just really not a luxury gym.

Great location but have to wait for equipment at peak times and the music is deafening!!!

Recent media coverage of sexual assault and harassment has empowered me to talk about my experiences. Sexual assault and harassment inside the men's locker room are very common at this location. Complaints are continuously ignored. The steam room is like a bathhouse. Unwanted sexual advances - check! Unwanted touching and groping - check! Self pleasure - check! Oral action - check! No condom anal sex - check! Retaliation, intimidation, and defamation by staff members if you complain - check!

So what happened that led me to file a complaint? I had a long night and was recovering from a cold. I decided to use the steam room to clear my sinuses. The steam room was initially occupied by 2 guys. I sat in the corner and closed my eyes. Out of nowhere.. I felt a hand rubbed against my inner thighs near my privates. I opened my eyes and it was a guy (White male, 6'0", mid-late 20s, lean, ugly) with his left hand on my thigh and his right hand pleasuring himself. I pushed his left hand away. I was in shock and quickly got up and left. I looked to my left and a black guy (mid 20s, lean) was sucking an old white guy while another guy was pleasuring himself. I got dressed and ran upstairs to file my complaint. I told a black girl (nasty attitude, fake red dyed hair, 20s) working the front desk what happened. She rolled her eyes and laughed. I demanded to speak with a manager. She took out her phone and started browsing the web. I again demanded to speak with a manager. She then made a RACIST comment, walked to the back, stood near the copy machine and played with her phone. I went downstairs to the locker room to grab my items. I was still upset. I then proceeded to head back upstairs after retrieving my bag and clothes. The guy who molested me was an Equinox masseur. He was chatting and laughing with the black girl working the front desk at that moment. I believe his name is Nick. I yelled at them. But they continued to laugh.

I received a phone call from a blocked number a few nights later. A guy said he was the manager of Equinox. I told him what happened. His response was "are you homophobic?". I told him "how am I homophobic if I'm openly gay? Being gay doesn't mean I'm ok with being groped by his masseur". He hung up the phone.

How did Equinox intimidate and retaliate against me? Their managers and employees initially began with defaming my character with vicious rumors. It then escalated to stalking inside and outside of the gym. Employees started harassing and following me around the gym. Maintenance workers and personal trainers, especially an uneducated Asian guy (muscular build, late 20s, about 5'10", 190-200-lbs), would follow me into the locker room, spin room, etc. This then escalated to stalking me outside of the gym. Was it a coincidence that maintenance workers followed me from my home and workplace to another Equinox location? They were then able to check into that location as a member and harass me. Then came "anonymous" phone calls with threats.

Manager: Sam Karr
Assistant Manager: Steven Lewis
Personal Trainer: Mike
Masseur: Nick
Front desk: Ruby
Maintenance worker: Mexican male (40s, male) who directed two of his workers to follow me

Equinox will NOT silence me! I will expose these guys and hopefully all of them will be criminally prosecuted. A gym membership should not come with Equinox's participation in sexual assault and harassment as well as threats to one's safety.

Here's a tip! Take out your phone and make it known to the assistant manager, manager and front desk you're recording your complaint. Then immediately get the police involve.

One of the small Equinox gyms in the city. I believe this location used to be a New York Sports Club.

I went around 7:30PM and the crowd was disappearing from the after work rush. Was able to get a good workout in.

Probably would not recommend during busy times.

A bit on the small side, but otherwise nice.

Worst customer service, horrible gym equipment, showers run out of hot water regularly, poor management. Most likely the worst Equinox in NYC, if this is the only equinox you would work out at, get a membership to another sports club in the area that is a much better facility and cheaper.

Visited for a cycle for survival event held at this space which went well. The locker and shower facilities are very modern and exceptionally clean. The gym space is nice but a little small and very open so you'll be in front of everyone. The staff was nice but very amped up. The event itself was well organized.

I was reached out by one of their representatives -Andrea Jijon for a disrespectful conversation. This person, who was trying to sell their service got angry and hang up the phone. I don't understand why a business would employ this kind of people. It is a bad business decision especially in this era! And your gyms are not really tempting. They look awful and I wouldn't want to work out at one of them. I told you many times and again, please stop harassing people!

One of the most crowded equinox ive been to especially for its size (i have all access). Low ceilings and machines cramped together make it feel even smaller. Also the only equinox where there is urine on toilet seats which says a lot about the patrons that go to this branch
