I attended Eternal Spring Qi Gong classes 3 times a couple of months ago.
I like the school and instructors but
I wish they emphasized the importance of KUA(opening hip) instead of knees. I am experiencing knee pain.
When you forcefully open knees in horse stance without opening KUA,
Knees suffer.

I attended Eternal Spring Qi gong classes 3 times a couple of months ago.
I am suffering from knee pain ever since.
Overly weighed on the knees.
I hoped the instructors emphasized the importance of KUA.

If you want to learn the right way

I studied at Chu Tai Chi for several years and was a witness to the physical transformation of students (including myself) who studied nei kung and Tai Chi. There were people who walked in the door literally unable to touch there tows, but after some time of regular practice became physically fit and limber. Unlike a lot of other Tai Chi schools Chu Tai Chi teaches a complete curriculum which includes meditation, nei kung (a set of intense yoga like exercises), chi kung, weapons forms, and self defense. As far as I know this is one of the last places in the States that teaches real Tai Chi.
