reached out to Margie with interest about starting private lessons and was not responded to, not sure if she is still teaching?
I started doing prenatal yoga with Margie in my 16th week of pregnancy. I was very sick for the first 4 months and finally started to feel better and needed to get myself to do something active! I had done yoga just a few times before, so was still very much a beginner, but thought it was a great way to ease back into working out and making my body and mind feel better. Margie lead me through my first class, taking me through the basics and how to manage my body as it grows. I felt so great after that I've continued on a weekly basis throughout my pregnancy. She always asks me how I'm feeling and how my body is feeling so we focus on the areas that need attention. She is very personable and also understands what I'm going through since she too is expecting!
I absolutely loved my yoga experience with Margie. I started as a beginner and before I knew it, Margie transformed me into a confident yogi! Her class flows extremely well, as she takes the time to explain the poses, while still maintaining a good rhythm. She always keeps your personal abilities in mind, and stresses never to push yourself past your limit. Margie is warm, friendly and easy to talk to - making my yoga experience professional and fun! I would highly recommend her.
My husband and I have been practicing with Margie for several months now and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. We started working with Margie after my husband finally agreed to try yoga to help with his chronic back pain. He has had back surgery, intensive physical therapy and ongoing massage but nothing had helped (after years of trying!). Once he gave me the go ahead to find a yoga instructor, I knew that finding the "right one" would be critical. I searched online and visited several studios before settling on Margie and I could not feel better about my decision. Margie makes our yoga practice everything we need and don't need...if you've ever been to a "hard core ashtanga" class, you may understand that for the novice, yoga can be overwhelming and its benefits can be lost on the first timer. Well, not with Margie! She's understanding, encouraging and challenging just when we need it. It also helps with our busy schedules to know that she's a professional, shows up on time and is always responsive to any last minute changes.

I've been practicing Yoga for over 3 years now, and Margie is one of my favorite instructors. Always patient and available to adjust or show you the proper way for each pose; beginners or advanced, everyone gets equal time. She is also very sensitive to injuries (aches and pains) and will demonstrate alternative ways for each pose. Highly recommended.

I could feel a tremendous change as soon as I began private sessions with Margie. She is gentle yet effective, supportive while motivating her clients to go further, friendly, and puts you at ease immediately. It has been a truly beneficial experience and I highly recommend Margie for group classes and especially for private yoga sessions.
