By far the hardest workout in all of NYC. The coaches are amazing and motivating... by far an unparalleled workout experience in this city full of boutique studios. The team approach was great, although at times, as a newbie I felt bad for holding the rest of the team back. Grateful to have had my butt kicked. Thanks Tone House Best Workout in nYC

The Men and Women both make yourself healthy and fit here. In this Gym there are many instruments to make your body in shape. Many Competition are also held here.

I was in NYC for a few days and took my first Tone House class. I took the regular Friday conditioning class. It was brutal and I thoroughly got my butt kicked but enjoyed every minute of it (in hindsight). Very tough class. An atmosphere like no other gym class. Coach Alex was intense and motivating and the other people in the class were very friendly. I would go here all the time if I still lived in NYC. Definitely going back next time I visit NYC.

Really liked the class I took here. The place didn't seem very sanitary though - change rooms were gross and showers were yikes. There's a cold jacuzzi in the change room which is cool. The stretching area is really weird - looks like a waiting room for a doctor's office with some foam rollers sprinkled about. I'd come here for the class and go shower/stretch elsewhere.

Great location for people in the city. Amazing gym etiquette all around. Dumbbells ALWAYS re-racked, same with the plates, and people always willing to let you work in.

A workout experience unlike any I've seen before. The workouts are definitely difficult. I was only in town for a couple of days, but I know if I went a couple more times, I would have started to get in the groove.

Coaches are inspiring , workouts are definitely challenging but you'll feel great about yourself after class.

The best studio work out I've ever done! The conditioning is top notch!! When waiting to take class in the lounge I feel like I am about to commence war, because of the ominous music that plays as you foam roll before the fun truly begins!

Let me start by saying that now I know I am not in shape. I thought I was in decent shape after the Summer until I stepped on the turf at Tone House. It was only a beginner class (yikes), and I was given a reality check that my fake Summer workouts just didn't cut it! The Tone House gym and experience are quite intimidating; I'm not going to lie. The experience is like stepping into a club (dark, red lights, and loud music) where you are joining a team of people that you don't know who are probably in better shape than you (at least me). There is no hiding in your own little space because you are actually doing the workout in lines with your teammates. They are cheering you on so you can't let them down. To be honest, I was exhausted after the "warm-up!" This was the kick start I needed for my transition out of Summer. This is a workout that I need to master. This is Tone House!

The facility is top notch and the other athletes on the turf treat you like a teammate and friend despite the fact that they might not have ever met you before. You might feel slightly intimidated walking in your first time but rest assured you will be welcomed as one of the crew in minutes and leave the class ready to start or end your day feeling like the best version of yourself. Not to mention you'll crush way more calories than you're used to.

One of the only places were I felt accomplished & challenged when I walked out. Tone House makes you work harder than you can ever imagine working on your own.

Pushing myself to the limit made me feel like I worked towards a better body. I took Alonzo's class. Find your favorite coach and grind it out.

This is absolutely a 5 star review but this workout isn't for me in the long run. The facilities are GREAT, I didn't want to leave, the instructors are motivating and incredibly helpful.

Upon arriving, I met some lovely people at the front desk, most of whom are so crazy about this workout that they went and got jobs there. They're very happy to tell you all about it and prepare you for class. Once you get past the front desk, basically everything is bathed in red lights. It's nice, it makes for intense looking selfies but it gets a little old. The Lounge has lots of foam rollers for before or after your workout and some nice reclining chairs that must feel great after class.

Class was an even mix of men and women but clearly EVERYONE even in the 101 class, is in excellent physical shape already. We were about 18 people and basically everyone is super toned. Our instructor was incredibly motivating (almost too much for my taste) and there was an air of "pep rally" in the room. I'm not super outgoing and though I wish my "teammates" a great workout, I don't want to cheer for strangers or put my hand in a circle before class to count down from three and shout "tone house" at the top of my lungs. Tone House does what it does incredibly well but like I said, this isn't for me in the long run. I'm not that peppy, unfortunately!

The workout was great, it's tough but doable and definitely gets you using muscles you might otherwise neglect. If you want a hard workout, don't hesitate to go to Tone House, it does what it promises!

The locker rooms and showers after the workout were miraculous and refreshing. Perhaps the nicest shower facilities I've seen in a NYC gym (and I've been to a lot of them!) The shampoo is heavenly!!

The hardest workout I've done since 2 a days during high school. Not for casuals looking for a sweat. Very supportive environment. It's silly to say but there's a sort of team spirit that's very real. The locker room area and the facilities are definitely the best of all boutique fitness gyms in Manhattan.
