I mean what can I say. I guess for the money, what can I expect? No time is off peak it seems. It's hard to work out sometimes bc instead of exercise, people people watch, which is annoying. I'm just trying to get my beast mode on but it's almost impossible to. So, from now on, I'll do my intense workouts at home and go to the gym for free weights and cardio only. Because with modern date/pick up culture, you literally can't build up a serious sweat in peace

10, 15 or 22(black card) dollar a month plans. Basement floor has change rooms with nice showers, and weights. Second floor has cardio, 30 min workout room (however no one follows the rules of the "30 min workout" which is okay, it's essentially just another comfier weight machine room. Third floor is a mix of everything. This place is kept quite clean and the staff are usually helpful. The black card members spa has a relaxation room, tanning beds, standing tanning, body enhancement, massage chairs and my personal favorite hydro massage. With the black card membership you can bring one guest each time. It's all definitely worth your money and the location is super convenient

I would like to express great pleasure in excellent customer service from Samora.
There was a problem that needed to be rectified and upon entering the gym I knew she was the right person to assist me. She engaged me with a greeting at the door and offered some help. I told her my problem and she pinpointed the solution. It was peak hours and Samora, alone, simultaneously resolved the issue while checking in customers. She thanked me for my patience and communicated everything she did to make right the problem. Sincere thanks to Samora for showing professionalism and for her core values. She displayed compassion in caring for me - the customer. I know she's an asset and I hope that everyone who she works with recognizes her function at the gym. She's leading by example. Thank you for helping me.

Another outstanding Planet Fitness location. This is a 3-story gym with all the strength and cardio equipment you need for a solid workout. The only limitation is no free weights except for dumbbells, but that is made up for with plenty of machines. This location also offers free classes and a lounge that's surprisingly comfortable. All this for only $10 a month for one location or $20 for all Planet Fitness gyms.

Furthermore, the staff are always friendly, and I've yet to encounter a rude member at the Duffield Street location. The locker rooms are very clean, especially in the morning, and there are always open machines (in the morning).

I cannot recommend Planet Fitness highly enough! I've gotten so many benefits from Planet Fitness and think it's one of the best values, not only for gyms, but for any service in America. If you need a place to workout without feeling intimidating or spending a fortune every month, Planet Fitness is a great choice. I've had positive experiences at all Planet Fitness gyms, but the Duffield Street location is particularly well-run and provides a great workout every time.

I get my workout done here. They have all types of machines and those massage chairs and bed is everything after my workout.

I love this planet fitness it's close to my house so the commute isn't bad. I usually go at night when I know it's not as busy and I could actually focus on my workouts.

The women's bathroom is not always in the best condition. But you can get your workout on! Update! There is new equipment since 10-5-2018. Come and get your work out on, you'll love it!

The people that work here are kind and helpful. There are a lot of "lunks" here but there's nothing the workers can do about that. Usually a bit crowded after work

I walked out of planet fitness for 5 seconds, and realized I left my bag in the locker. When I walked back in, they didn't believe me when I told them, and wouldn't allow me to go to the locker room. They even refused to go in with me escorted, when they had plenty of staff to do so. The rudeness is extraordinary.

There's a reason Planet Fitness at Duffield has a D- on the BBB website. I went into cancel my membership multiple times and was still being charged. I had every excuse from "our system is down" to them out right lying to me. Now they won't even return the membership fees I paid. They are deceptive and would do anything to avoid cancelling your membership.

Do yourself a favor- DON'T SIGN UP HERE. GO TO BLINK OR NYSC.

The manager refuses to answer email and only responds when someone else is on copy. The hassle of getting through to them is impossible.

I would give a zero star if there was a choice.

Seriously, for $23 per month I can get unlimited access to all Planet fitness', tanning, and training sessions with classes. This place is great.

Only complaint, the men's locker room smeels like some strong weed from time to time. Maybe these guys are blowing smoke before they pump some iron.

Have to give only 2 stars since, when I joined yesterday primarily for the fitness classes, I was NOT told during the process that the gym had no current fitness instructor at this location and thus, no classes to offer. And today when I tried to attend classes at the next closest location (66 Boerum Place) their instructor was out sick. It's kind of unbelievable that a gym could only have 1 instructor at a facility, or sometimes not even that many. What happened to back ups?

Will post a follow up after a month to update whether there are instructors present.

Why is it everytime I come to the gym the workers they hire get more worse and more lazy at this gym and it's on this gym cause I have a membership at blink and they are respect and clean but everything I come at this gym around 9 or 10 pm I have to clean up for them like put all the weight back in there places also picking up bottles and garbage to throw it in the trash and also machines are dirty and Im the one paying 20 a month to come to this gym smh and also I'm come in the door I see one working dancing and another one on the phone sitting on top of the counter neither one working nor cleaning at all smh hope I don't get hurt here like fall over weights that everywere and trash cause this place will be in a lot of trouble

Some of the nastiest attitudes you'll ever come across. they have no idea what customer service is. They succeed in fully stressing me out BEFORE my workout on a regular basis. There's only one manager who can solve ANY issues and hard to reach. I've never seen her face I go 3-4 times a week. Hoping I can get my billing issue solved some time this year. Smh.

Unorganized and ghetto. Staff have attitudes. That lady with the gold hair is so mean. And barely knows anything. I overheard one staff member tell another staff member "We can go in the employee room for a quick round" im guessing to have sex. It's disgusting here. No wonder many people are cancelling.

Basic machines for basic work outs cool, I brought in a jump rope for a different kind of cardio & you WOULD'VE thought I committed a crime, I was off in the corner where no one else was around, maybe they should provide simple equipment (jump rope) for alternative cardio

Grading on a curve, best PF I've ever seen,stuff usually works, people are pretty respectful. perfect placement of machines and amenities, best time to go is really early or late, parking is bad in this area

Could be better maintained. It's been updated recently but the lower floor always smells and I'm not sure it's coming from the womens locker room if you know what I mean. The staff have been nice enough and always helpful. Some machines have issues but seems to be repaired fairly quickly.

Nice place to work out best time early in the morning on weekends not to many ppl and can work out for as long as you want.

The employee/staff are very friendly and helpful. They recently added new equipment and remodeled it a little. I come here a few times during the week. The equipment tend to breakdown or don't work but I think that is best they get a lot of business. I wish they had more space and bathrooms in the women's changing area. Also cleaning the bathroom a little more and leaving an air freshener would be great. Sometimes there are leaks coming from the ceiling which should also be fixed and sometimes it smells . Other than that its a good place to workout.

Decent equipment to get the basic job done. If you're looking for more equipment, you will most likely not find it at planet fitness. Decent cleaning. Friendly staff. Operable equipment. Cheap membership.
