Big shout out to Mendez boxing gym for providing a fun interactive experience for me and my family. We took the time to try out the 1:1 training and left with exhilarated energy. Will go back. Room was filled with folks from all walks of life. Prices are affordable.

Visiting New York and was a bit apprehensive trying a new gym out but everyone made me feel very welcome!!! This is great facility that caters for both amateurs and more advanced fighters. Trainers are very attentive and helpful! Thanks for amazing workout!

Recently joined Mendez Boxing as I love the sport and the workouts are never boring. While this is a real boxing gym, everyone is respectful of your level of skill. There's great diversity here including top notch boxers and novices like myself. The trainers are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I visited a few of the shiny, new "boxing gyms" and quickly realized the benefits (and results) I'd see from joining Mendez boxing given the trainers and the overall friendly environment.

Train with Champions like
Joey Gamache and Christophe Mendy. Cheaper than a shrink and twice as effective.

Best boxing gym in nyc. New Gym with all up to date equipment. Really clean lockers and showers are luxurious. after boxing they have a crossfit trainer that helps you exercise. Same old school gym attitude with blood, sweat and tears. def learn boxing here for sure. Group classes involve pad workouts

It's a favoritism/greed game in this facility. I went to be trained by one of the boxing trainers there and it was more of a touch and go type training they did with me. I paid $200 and wasn't trained correctly, I also noticed that the trainers will work with people that tip them on the side ;and if you're paying $200 a month to be trained why I gotta give you more money to do the job I'm paying you to do in the first place? White privilege is real in this gym.

Great gym! Organized and well run. I don't get to come as often as I like, but the people are always welcoming, and the facilities are top notch.

GREAT atmosphere, plenty of room. Whenever I travel always look for a Gym to work. Had a nice conversation with trainer Harry who sparred with a hero to myself and millions, Muhammad Ali. Would recommend to anyone who loves the sport.

You should sign up if you have the cash and plan on working out by yourself. They have good equipment. Thats the only good thing. The extra 100$ for a 'trainer' will only get you 10 min of padwork after your first week when you have already paid for it. Literally that is it. The extra 100$ is absolutely not worth it. I know, I came to this gym for around 9-10 months. And this is 100% not a gym to come to if you plan on competing, or even just have regular sparring. Its very much a white collar gym, where the trainers will seek to train those finance guys and the models that come around over the people that are truly trying to learn the art of boxing. To get real training you need to go to a gym in poorer areas where sparring is abundant and there are real fighters . This is a gym for the white collar folks, stay away if you do not fit that mold especially if you really want to learn. I go to a gym in the South Bronx now and Ive gotten more sparring here in 2 months than I did in 10 months at Mendez
