The Swan really can't be beat if you are looking for excellent instructors who take a very personal interest in helping to build your Pilates practice. They are knowledgeable, thoughtful and fun. The studio is beautiful and full of light. Beginners and seasoned Pilates practitioners alike will love this studio and the instructors who teach here!
I am dancer and I am currently being trained to be a Pilates instructor. This means that I am very picky about my Pilates. The Swan Pilates lives up to all my expectations. All their teachers are incredibly knowledgeable about bodies and safe ways to exercise and strengthen. They teach Pilates in a way that the students are able to understand and appreciate their bodies. I was able to take private lessons, duets, and group classes and all were worth investing time into. I love the Wednesday morning mat class for dancers I feel like Eleanor has a deep understand of the dancer body and is able to help make it function more efficiently and with less injury. I loved this place and these women and would say this is some of the best Pilates in NYC!
