This is the only pilates studio I've tried. I found Gramercy Pilates through a Gilt deal and took a few private lessons to make sure I understood the basics. Since then I've tried the beginner reformer classes, open reformer classes, and mat with props (tough!) and feel like I have a good foundation for pilates. My instructors (Tai, Inessa, Charlie) have all been great at making adjustments and kind. I tend to choose the classes that only have a few students in them to try and get individualized attention, but there can be up to 10 students in a class if it fills up.
Note: Only negative is that in the summer, a couple times it got quite warm in the studio. Also, there are a lot of emails sent out (too many for my liking), but if you subscribe you can get some deals on the classes. There are no lockers, only cubbies by the front desk.
