I started going to Om Factory in 2009, and was taking classes all the time. I loved the studio because they were so different - AcroYoga, Aerial Yoga, Vinyasa, so much to choose from. I then became a volunteer, then staff, then became a teacher and have stayed with OmFactory this whole time. OmFactory is truly a unique place. If you're looking to get fit, have fun and meet new friends, this is the place for you. As a teacher and a practitioner I can say from experience that this place embraces everyone no matter where you're from and how you identify. You'll find mostly circus classes and Aerial Yoga but there are a few Vinyasa classes on the schedule as well for a good balance.
First time trying this aerial yoga at om factory. Went with a friend and bought the 5class pack. It's easy to book and purchase the classes. Went today with Kristina the yoga instructor. I always wanted to try aerial yoga and today was the day, it was harder than it looks. Thank goodness I didn't break my neck on the upside down hanging position, it was so fun. I am not that flexible in yoga but I tried to my max. Will go again for the remaining of my classes. Must try if you haven't tried.

This place is like my second home, the people, the classes, the atmosphere.. it's all magical!
I love training here. I've taken classes with many different instructors - aerial yoga, aerial dance, circus. I am consistently challenged. I can also recommend their teacher trainings! I just wish I lived closer.
Very disapointed. After crossing all Manhattan and although we tell them that we were arriving late because we had passed through the other floor (which is also om factory) they did not let us in because we were 15 minutes late, more than 10. They did not even accept to ask the teacher. More than once we had attended om factory classes with people entering later but it turns out that they have decided to apply a policy change and do not care about people feelings. I will spend the classes that I have left and I'm sure I will not be back.
I've been in different OM factory places and I have enjoyed a lot, very nice people. Here first time and Alejandra just forbid us to enter class when we were exactly 15min late, that was because we went to the place in the 2nd floor. Very disappointed when rules are rigidly enforced over people.
I love this place and staff! It was my first time to do yoga in my life and you guys made me love yoga! Even thought It was little difficult to do it because I'm still studying English, but the teacher was really friendly and sweet!
We went as a group for a bachelorette party and had a blast. The instructor was kind and patient with a group who had never taken a silks class before. Definitely a class to try at least once!

Not a very understanding studio for someone new to the city.
Arrived 2mins past their late entry time and was told I was not able to join the class because of this. Unfortunately the studio isn't well sign posted and for this reason I walked past several times without seeing it and as a result was 2mins late.
Yoga studios should show forgiveness and understanding to individuals however the staff at this studio do not follow that lead.

Nice yoga studio in Union square that offers classes in aeriel yoga, aeriel silks and other circus skills. A lot of fun but a bit pricier than other yoga studios!

Terrific, FUN and challenging way to exercise. I've been a regular at this studio for a year now and love the aerial dance classes, aerial silks, aerial Lyra, and aerial yoga level 3 classes. The teachers are very talented, knowledgable, inspirational, and kind and I'm still learning new things from all of them. The owner is so sweet and radiates positive energy. The facilities are always clean. It's always welcoming and uplifting to come here and I look forward to it every day after work. I've been to different aerial/pole studio in Manhattan that had an overly sexy vibe to it that made me uncomfortable. Here at omfactory, just come as you are, be real, be you, and be valued.
The price is really comparable to other Manhattan circus/aerial studios and worth every penny.

When for an Aerial class and liked it . The studio is clear and spacious . They don't have showers and not that many restrooms . Overall a nice experience !
