Clean and new but need to fix the sound insulation in the workout studio. I only go for the classes and there's nothing worse than trying to take a yoga class with pounding clubbing music coming through the windows.
New, sleek, and sexy. Love the concrete and obsidian. One giant floor layout, way better than the tiered ones.
The cleanest, newest and nicest equinox that I have been to. A lot of natural light and space does not feel too crowded. Very gentrified crowd tho, like dumbo generally. Go here especially compared to the brooklyn heights location.
One of the newest Equinox facilities and by far one of the best. Great service and equipment. The members at this location are friendly and in peak physical condition - they will motivate you!
Management is money focused and not experience focused. Cannot keep staff from revolving door. Continual contact if you ever end up on a list. Would not recommend to anyone with a brain bigger than their wallet. Try the Dodge YMCA instead!
Update: This is their culture to discourage members from using the gym unless they are paying for their useless trainers. You can't even tell your girlfriend how to us the machine, according to the first google review below. And the management will do absolutely nothing; just an empty sorry below this review!

Before you get locked into a $250+ monthly, 12-month contract; read a few real Google reviews, not the fake 5-star reviews from people that got a free class, nor the ones amazed by the location or it being clean. I found 10 Google reviews just in the lower Manhattan and Brooklyn locations, specifically on the trainers monopolizing the equipment, making fun of member, rudeness and overcrowding! I would add the links, but Google does not allow links.

The trainers stand right next to other people working out when there is ample space not too. I had to move multiple times because of a clueless trainer stand where I was working out, when I went to switch dumbbells.
And then there are all the members that monopolize multiple sets of weights for the hours, during the busy times and get upset when someone takes one of the sets.
The only good thing about Equniox is there gyms are clean except when people stand on the benches and don't wipe them down afterwards. Their app is great; however, classes can't be booked via the app for this location. After my 12-month contract is up I'll try another brand.
And the music is too loud... Even if it was my kind of music, it doesn't need to be played for the entire gym. Most people are anyways wearing headphones.

Gym has been under construction for the past 4 months. In the middle of the summer. With no AC. Not worth the money, and management does not seem concerned to help or compensate for the inconvenience.
My home location! Love how every equinox has its own personality and architecture but this one stands out in terms of "hipness", cleanliness and non-crowding. Could use a greater variety of classes though

One of the newer locations, this Equinox facility is one of my go to gyms. Great variety of equipment. Gets busy in the mornings but it's not too bad.

If I had to pick a model Equinox, this would be it. It's in a great location, has good size and equipment, and is not overly crowded.
It's everything you'd ever want in a gym. My only slight complaint is the locker room - the floors get really slick when wet (which happens when people shower...).

This gym is very clean and fairly new. Have a wide array of fitness classes and they change it up every few months. However, I'm very disappointed they don't have the Pursuit spin classes which is primarily why I signed up for this gym. Not a deal killer though. All their spin instructors are amazing. NOTE: So many members now they should think of expanding.

Super clean and brand new equipment. Too many members for the size of space.
Horrible management! Asked for the print of my visits and turned out to be it is missing 15 visits. After numerous emails back and forth for three weeks, I still don't have the issue resolved. According to William Calle, Assistant General Manager, they are experiencing problems with IT Department. Luxury experience? I don't think so.
