Anyone looking to start kickboxing in the neighborhood -- even if they live a train ride away -- should take their business to ILKB Park Slope. I took my first class at the beginning of '18, hoping for a more measured workout than trying to keep track of myself at the gym. I didn't know what to expect, but after feeling exhilarated by the workout and welcomed by the staff, I signed up for an annual membership on the spot. After scores of classes, I can say that the support from the instructors and the pace of the workout has left me feeling more active, stronger, and comfortable exercising than ever before.
