If you guys would but up the prices of this gym it would be a 5 star gym
The place is drowning in equipment. A wall of squat racks, as many Smith machines as I can count on two hands, and the entire catalogue of every workout machine you could possibly concieve of. If their locker rooms were bigger, they'd probably try to fit gear into it. It's incredible.
This is the gym of never having to say "are you done with that?"
Bring a bottle of water, a towel and a lock.
The locker rooms are nothing spectacular, but they aren't nasty either.
Pros: TONS of equipment, most of which you won't find in a lot of globo-gyms.
Upholstery gets fixed almost immediately.
Cons:
Where do I begin?
- Old (RED) machines that no one uses that take up space; (probably from 1982)
- Old machines that need to be put out to pasture;
- barbells that are bent, knurling that's vanished (so there's no grip on the bars anymore);
- racks that are rusted and not ideal for squatting in;
- completely uneven floors, which are dangerous;
- management refuses to spend money to upgrade on anything - won't even spend $75-$100 for a barbell jack;
- cardio equipment looks like hand-me-downs that came from Jack LaLanne; (One incline treadmill that doesn't even incline any more and takes up space)
- stretching mats that probably have bacteria growing their own bacteria on them full of holes and tears.
Membership fees are fairly low. Employees are very friendly. Very diverse group of individuals.
Terrible marketing scam. Will charge some people $20 a month while the "student membership" for 4 months is $93... (Their website clearly quotes $89 for the student membership). On top of that, when requested to use a one WEEK guest pass, they refused and insisted that I pay $10 for the ONE DAY. Highly do not recommend. Other gyms that are better equipped and cost way less in the area include New York Sports Club and Planet Fitness.
The good, great open space with through back equipment. 24 hour operation ! From nautilus to cybex to hammer strength. 4 squat racks 2 power racks 4 leg presses etc . All different brands ,so plenty of variety.
The bad, No water fountain ! Equipment can be a bit run down and there is stuff everywhere ! There is almost too much stuff strewn about.
The ugly , no gym etiquette ! Everyone leaves plates all over. Tons of bros , who lift in this clique spot. All n all, you could hammer out a national level physique in this spot, as long as your serious !

Some of the people are very nice. Equipment is great. Big gym.

Great staff. Old school gym. Stair master is always broken, absolutely ZERO space for a free-floor exercise. Only cardio you get is on machines. Only two mat spaces for stretches. Machines are a bit outdated but for the cheap membership, it's all worth it
Place is too packed at night must avoid during peak hours. Unless you enjoy waiting in line to use a machine.
Pretty good place. Lots of equipment. Even on a crowded day you can get your workout without waiting for equipment because there is so much. Also the heavy bag(punching bag) to complete your workout.
Love Dolphin Fitness! The staff is always quick to offer you a spot when lifting, and there's so many machines & free weights that you NEVER have to wait around to workout! No sharing of machines, etc. The gym crowd is pretty diverse, everything from soccer moms to older folks to younger college-age kids. Mostly friendly patrons, too. Love Dolphin, hands down the best gym in the area!!!!

It's an average Gym, expensive. The Good thing is that it's not crowded when compared to other gyms
Very unsanitary gym-the toilet is constantly overflowing, not enough lockers, and old exercise machines. The staff is not friendly. Would not recommend, there are better gyms to go for the amount of money they charge you.
This gym is amazing.
Came here at 6PM after Work, had no problem to do my regular workout. Really liked it. A lot of machines. Alot of good people. Friendly Stuff.
One more thing is they give you a tour ,before you sign up and you don't have to do pictures or give email or phone number. They not trying to get you on hook like everybody else.
I really appreciate for the tour and for good service.

Average no-nonsense gym. Lack water fountain and other modernities, but there is a lot of squat racks and benches.
This is a place you come to get your work done. No foo -foo shakes, no pizza, no fancy... Just straight hard work to get results. That's why I have been coming here since 1997.
I like this gym overall. There are lots of machines, and they work for the most part. This place very much no frills, however. They do not have air conditioning or a water fountain, which I find takes planning otherwise dehydration is a real risk.
I read the bad reviews and decided to see myself how bad it really was and honestly i dont get what people are complaining about , the front desk people are very nice and helpful i always got a "have a nice day" or "how are you doing" from them so no complaints there , the gym is well equipped with a ton of different machines and so far they all work , its a large gym too so there are alot of machines to use even if its crowded.
I dont really have any complaints the prices for membership are much lower than most other gyms theres no contract or initiation fee , the staff is nice and there are a ton of machines
So if your looking for a gym then go for this one you have nothing to lose.
P.S i reccomend going there around 6-7 AM theres like 4 people max youll have almost all machines at your disposal.
Barely any music and when they play it, it's horrible. NO WATER FOUNTAIN. I'm pretty sure that's a major violation but they do whatever they want I guess.
Used to be a great gym idk what happened
This gym was good when i first started, then they started saying, "please stop slamming the weights". All i have to say is if im deadlifting 500lbs there is no way that ill put it down gently. This gym is slowly turning into planet fitness, all they need now is a LUNK ALARM. I understand about re racking and leaving bags on the floor, but when they started with putting the weight down hard I did not like it. If they dont change it, i will leave when my membership ends, and go somewhere else. Do I recommend? If you like planet fitness then yes. If your a powerlifter and your really serious, then no.
If I can write a review with less that one star I would. The place is completely outdated as well as all of there machines. Every locker is broken, the shower room/bathroom is awful, dirty and smelly. No A/C but a bunch of dirty fans. Never once have I seen workers cleaning this place up. They only have good A/C at there enterance to lure you into there s@$t hole. Visited twice and cancelled my membership. This place is a mess, I would think twice if your planning to join...With all the other nice gyms in the area, the only good thing about this place is that they are 24hrs.
Hardcore bodybuilding gym with old iron. A lot of squat racks and bench presses with tons of machines as well. Open 24/7. No tap water tho..and bathroom smells baddd (needs a lot of cleanliness)..other than that it's a great place to kill any type of workout..manager tommy is a nice guy..go see him for cheapest membership ever.
