I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Was looking for a gym to sign up for for temporary use when on biz travel and ran into this place so thought I'd give it a try. I signed up for the trial class and realized it only included the WOD and not the full typical 1 hr class with the strength portion. I asked to attend the full hour since I'm there anyways. On a reply, an obnoxious guy named Anthony gave a ton of attitude and wanted to confirm I was "proficient" in barbells. I've been to a ton of CrossFit classes and as part of my travels belong to a few gyms from PHX to TOR so yea, a little proficient! Finally he said ok so I was set for the class - annoyed already by the back and forth but nevertheless, set.
Then came class day. One would expect a CrossFit class to be about the community, be welcoming and supportive - that's what CrossFit is about for the most part. This place, not even close. Place was old, run down and people there weren't friendly at all, no community and the class started late bc the previous class went over 10 mins - no organization. Then came the coach, Anthony. This obnoxious guy wasn't fit at all, doesn't look like a coach and of course, gave me attitude bc I didn't grip my snatches wide enough, mocking me saying "I thought you said you were proficient". What a joke of a person, not a coach.
So, this place is not a CrossFit gym and community but rather, just a place where people workout with some guy yelling at you with sloppy disorganized WODs. Having going to dozens of gyms and working out with real crossfitters who participate in the games, this place and especially the coach is a joke.
