Clean, well maintained, good staff. Gets crowded but that's NYC for you
Got a membership here recently here and totally love the results I'm seeing. And happy they keep this place up very well and clean.
Equipment was clean easy train access..friendly workers
The facility is small the equipment is below average. Worst of all they got really upset/borderline harassing people for counting reps for me! Saying only thier staff can count outloud everyone else must count in head since they are certified....They kept assuring me their staff is professionally trained in reading,writing and counting outloud.
Well this gym is a joke. Management is rude and unprofessional. They also consider lifting with friends against the rules because they state its personal training when you count reps for someone. The abuse of power is unreal and there inability to take responsibility for mistakes is only gonna make this gym get worse and worse.
I absolutely love this gym. The staff is friendly. The equipment is perfect for my workout. It doesn't get too crowded. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone that works or lives near by.
To small of a gym for the volume of people in it. You can feel the germs in the air and feel it on every machine. Needs to be wiped down with Clorox and bleach. The free weight area smelled like a boiling everything bagel. Makes you nauseous and distracted while trying to lift. Its not a staff issue. They need a bigger property or higher prices to limit the amount of people. I trained from 1-2pm I can only imagine rush hour...
for the price you pay, I don't know how you can't rate this 4/5 stars. gets a little crowded at times, but its def. one of the bigger blinks in the area. even at 5-6 p.m. there are still a ton of cardio machines open. Best thing about this gym is OVERWHELMINGLY the staff. They are as nice and friendly as you will encounter. The owner, I call him O, is so friendly, cool and accommodating. Scam the money from your account, please dont join in this franchise. Because , your problems never resolved at the manager and there is no phone number to contact the head quarters. the manager at this branch is very unprofessional , never resolved my issue still. But they still trying to scam the money from bank account even though you cancelled account, they took prorated cancellation charges twice. i have been fighting about the fraud charges on my account from past 6 months .. never resolved. Please dont join this franchise at all.
It's probably by favorite blink because of the cleanliness. There is someone always cleaning no matter where you look. It does get crowded, but because the machines are always kept working I can tolerate it.

So I used to be ok with this location but now I feel it's going down hill I guess with some of these negative reviews they aren't sure what to do to keep their members happy. I would come and do my workout without a problem now I guess they are so paranoid about certain members or people in general that they are feeling the need to constantly clean around you. I like to get my workout done without having to worry about smelling chemicals when I am working out and breathing hard. I didn't join a gym to smell cleaning chemicals. I mentioned this to their manager and cleaning staff. This is the only location that I have noticed this. Other locations I pop in and do my thing and leave without having a maintenance crew right next to me and I am not always going near closing time for this to happen. I have been a member for a long time and this is really disappointing to feel like I have to limit where I can go after paying for a passport membership. Really considering finding a more environmentally friendly gym that's not trying to kill you as you workout.

Not the best blink. It's a little small and missing a couple machines that every other blink has. The one on 8th ave is bigger and better

They will keep charging you after you cancel your membership... Better go somewhere else and avoid the troubles dealing with them!
I usually work out in the Bronx locations, but today I upgraded my membership to be able to come to this location for my new job in the city. After about 15 minutes of working out, I quickly regretted my decision. There was a woman of Middle Eastern descent who used the machine next to me and was extremely malodorous. She tried to play it off like it wasn't her when I confronted her about it, but why use the machine next to me if you know you're going to stink and there are 15 other machines that were available! Why did you have to come right next to me?! It's like getting in an empty subway car and people want to come and sit next to you. I find it completely offensive when people are stinking especially when I am in the middle of trying to work out. I told the managers about this as she suggested and they said they could do nothing about it because they were sued for religious reasons regarding this. I suggested for them to put signs up indicating that they can provide alcohol prep pads or ask them to take a shower if they stink too much at their own discretion. He said he will bring it up to their corporate offices. But couldn't do anything about it...BRING AIR FRESHENER AND SPRAY IT ON AROUND STINKY PEOPLE AT THIS GYM! I couldn't continue working out as she ruined it for me.

Coming here in the evening when Angala is work is the best because she really motivates you to work. Truly one of the best workers I've ever seen

There are about 3 power outlets that all the girls share for their hair equipment. 1 out of 3 outlet stopped working for a while. There used to be 2 dryers and now only 1.
We now have to rush with our workouts and shower so we can get turns with the dryer or the outlets. And due to the wait, we get to work late. I have heard other women complaining in the bathroom too. Some even suggested to moving to a different gym.

This is one of my favorite locations. They don't have as many bars/squat racks/bench presses as a couple of the newer locations (e.g. Williamsburg, Utica Crown Heights), but its clean and a great location with the friendliest staff!

This is my favorite Blink fitness center. It's on the second floor, has windows and lots of light. Easy location not far from the train. Plenty of machines. I like to go during the afternoons and weekend when it's not as crowded.
Very well located Blink Fitness in Manhattan. Very clean and spacious with a lot of cardio and fitness equipments.
Staff is friendly, facility is clean. Clientele are a nightmare. For some reason this blink location attracts guys who superset the entire gym, throw weights like divas and grunt like animals giving birth.
