very nice gym for those who wants to make their body fit. All trainor were very nice and they follow professionalism and price was also genuine according to the quality. Place was also net and clean
I work right across from this gym. its one of the cleanest gyms i have seen. Very friendly and helpful staff! John the manager is on point with customer relations. Already had some of my staff join and will highly recommend for my friends. keep up the good work guys
Apparently a "month-to-month open contract" means "billed monthly," NOT cancellable each month. It's worded deceivingly and the reps will tell you anything you want to hear in person to get you to sign, but it's still the same exact 12-month lock-in requiring written cancellation or some life-changing factor (terminated employment, long distance move, medical disability) for early cancellation.
Gym facility is middling, but I personally have a distaste for when people lie to my face to make a sale.
The outside of this place does not do this place justice. The facilities are HUGE and well kept. There is a space for literally everything. Cycling? They got that. Boxing? They got that. Swimming? They have that too! When I first stepped into the building I was Confused. I was like, this expensive membership for what?! The building Seems old, dingy and packed- until you get further in. Every corner is like its own world. The ladies bathroom has so many bends and twists and everything is well maintained. Def coming back!

I just had a water gush out of a pipe in the ceiling onto me and had a manager say that she wasn't sure whether it could be fixed since "it depends on the building and what they say.". I mentioned that it would still seem like a bad situation if, for whatever reason, water is just coming down from the ceiling onto the gym floor and she started looking irritated, lol.

The gym is good. I love spin and yoga classes. Clean rooms, friendly staff, instructors are knowledgeable. The better time is go in the morning.

Very satisfied with my experience here. I've been to every New York health and racquet and I think this is the most open one. The natural light on the treadmills and free weights are perfect.
I've been a member for a year now and I am absolutely in love with this gym. Great swimming pool, fantastic hot tub, outdoor tanning and relaxing space during the summer, sauna and steam room, great showers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a lot of equipment and great classes. Most importantly, there's no pretentiousness and everyone is very friendly and polite. Never had an issue with men being inappropriate while I'm working out compared to other gyms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also close to a Trader Joe's so I get my workout done and my groceries done. This gym is perfect!

This is my gym and I have been going for years and I love it. Very friendly staff, great equipment and of course the saltwater pool is wonderful. I give this gym my highest recommendation.

Its a good gym. I wish they had a small lounge though for health food and drinks as well as a place to charge phones and did laundry for workout clothes. Mercedes Gym offers that, but its only one location all of NYC.
Initial member fee is difficult to justify at first but ultimately this is a good gym with a lot of space (except between 5 and 7pm when people get out of work) and quality equipment.
