I highly recommend the Fhitting Room. The coaches are solid and the programming will get the work done. For experienced fitness athletes, Fhitting Room format is basically CrossFit without barbells. There's often a strength portion and conditioning portion. They use acronyms like AMRAP, EMOM, and WOD.
I prefer this place over Tonehouse, which feels a bit gimmicky (club lighting, anyone?) and intimidating for beginners.
As far as location goes, I also prefer this one over the UES location, which is too cramped.
My main knock on Fhitting Room is that it's gotten quite expensive at $38 a session. As a result, it suffers from similar issues as most boutique, hip, fitness brands: the clientele is pretty homogenous.
