I tried SoulCycle for the first time a few months ago and was immediately a HUGE fan of the workout. However, after dabbling in a few other spin classes (Peloton, Flywheel), it was hard not to compare. 1.) Classes are SUPER expensive 2.) You have to pay for water and shoes (which the others, you don't) 3.) Teachers are inconsistent, not as educated 4.) My major qualm, they do NOT air condition the studio! I get it, people look way sweatier, but my workouts were tougher with the other spin classes and I nearly passed out due to the lack of air. Before investing, try out other options and don't just "jump on the bandwagon."
