David & Elian led a powerful sound meditation. They are skilled at holding space for everyone and anyone who comes to Woom Center. They have a wonderful way of weaving wisdom of self-reflection with humor, sincerity, and a kind of humility that will put even the most uptight New Yorker at ease - and that's NOT easy! Last night's Sound Experience was my first at Woom. I wasn't sure what to expect. What I can tell you is that I left Woom Center much more relaxed and open. I would recommend it as a place of refuge if the city has you wound up and you don't have the time to drive upstate for a hike out in nature (nature time is my preferred method of relaxation).

I had read about Woom Centre a few months from a blog and bookmarked it as it looked like a studio I wanted to try. It was actually one of the highlights to my holiday to NYC! I can recommend Jeanette she was super amazing and her flow was great. I love teachers that assist in classes and she does some lovely ones. Her class was also geared really well for a regular yogi like me who just wanted to flow and have fun, but there were also newer students in the class she catered to. I picked up her fantastic playlist she created for the class as well. The studio itself is beautiful and the projections they have on the wall are wild. ACV shots are offered after and mats are complimentary (make sure to bring your own towel as these seem on short supply). I couldn't recommend this studio more and I went back the next day for another class. Thank you woom centre!

This 5-star rating is for the space and the people. The café is cozy and calm, away from the street noise on the first floor. Everyone here is quite welcoming. Come here for a unique yoga or meditation experience, or even just to chat with a friend.
Regarding the yoga, I personally prefer other styles. I actually find the projections to be slightly distracting (maybe even gimmicky), but it could be great for you. It's worth checking out.
Good place to go for those looking to shake up your yoga practice. The elixir shot and the free may rentals are a nice touch and the cafe area is great for hanging out after.
