Always Clean whenever I go

Started out okay two years ago, but has gotten more annoying.
Hot water was out and I needed to shower after workout. Would be nice if members received an email blast when showers are not available, as that is pretty important.
They also eliminated all of the metal step-stools (plyos), apparently because members "bruised their shins". If they are going to eliminate everything that people use incorrectly or carelessly, there will be nothing left. Most members are glued to their cell phones, which does nothing to increase their coordination and care with equipment.

Great equipments fit my need. But there is no weight clamps at all? Why?
And the gym is always a little bit crowded...
Would give five stars...the place is clean, staff is friendly, price is right.....it's the people on cell phones who sit on.machines texting or watching movies or surfing the web who make this a less than 5 star experience....then if I ask them if they are done, after they sat for 5 minutes on their cell phone, they say, "I have one more round." Not Blink's fault as I understand cell phones are a necessity when trying to stay fit...I mean, if you cant text while working out you may never get six pack abs.
Workers are friendly, machines mostly work.. Today I had to change because of one machine wasn't reading the heart rate.. They keep the place clean and the workers are really nice.. Bathrooms are clean. Just wish they would do something abbot the wet wet wet floors..
I come here probably 3x a week. It's perfect for my needs: several power racks, clean modern machines, and a decent space for free weights. It can get quite crowded these days unfortunately, so try to find time off-peak.
Truly a steal for the $15 per month! This gym has an abundance of all the workout equipment you want and is never too crowded for it to reduce the quality of your workout. The only downside is that this location is entirely in the basement, but once you're down there, you hardly notice with how they've laid the place out. More people should check out Blink!

This was my first time at a gym & they made it so comfortable. Thr showers are perfect& clean, the bathrooms are clean. Locker room is clean everything. It has a nice atmosphere as well. I feel no pressure being a bigger size person working on my weight management jorney. Staff is sp friendly & helpful too. Just all arpund good package deal.

Great gym for my first visit. Interesting it's below floor level one flight down via the elevator or two flights down via stairs. The best part about this area is that there are many choices, i.e Planet Fitness, New York Sports Club basically less than a block away from each other. There'soap in the showers that's a plus. Workers are very knowledgeable of products & services. The area is very clean and well kept. I love the idea of the weight bags with straps for squats & other exercises. Healthy walk from the train. A wide assortment of pull-up bars. Great machines for the back exercises. I would definitely recommend this gym if you are in the area.

After Years of going to Crunch and basically paying enough money that I could've bought my own house upstated, I decided to make the switch to BLINK. I prefer this one over the 4th Ave Park Slope. The mens' Locker Room is SPOTLESS
I loved the time I spent at this gym but I would never purchase a blink fitness membership anywhere ever again. I tried to cancel my membership. They charge my card I swiped 2x and the card on file 3x of 49.86. The boerum hill location had no access to solve this. I spoke with customer service who said only corporate can dispute transactions. But their corporate HAS NO PHONE NUMBER. I spoke with Byron #1853 and he said he can email corporate and hopefully they'll get back to me. It's been 4 days now no email no phone no correspondence what so ever and I still have 5 charges holding on 2 different cards. One of which I can't even use because there are multiple pending transactions holding. This is unacceptable and unprofessional as a business to have no corporate number and tell a customer HOPEFULLY this will get resolved with no guarantees.
Easy to go in, difficult to get out!
The facility is good, and clean. It gets a bit crowded during the weekend but this is normal everywhere. The BIG issue with this gym is when cancelling your membership. They charge you all types of fees, you have to keep paying them for 45 days even if you're not using the gym, talking to customer service is impossible, and they have no supervisors or managers to help. Everything is done via email and you can be messaging with 20 different people at the same time. I have been a member for less than 3 months and I had to pay around $80 Just to cancel the membership....and whatever gets added to my card during those 45 days! Yeap, I'm going back to Crunch!
SPACIOUS! But it is a basement gym, so no natural light.... It could use more squat racks/bars. Otherwise pretty nice.
These guys are scam artists - good luck trying to get out of your membership. Awful customer service.
Left the tired old gym across the street to come over here and am so glad I did. This place has a nice energy and laid back back atmosphere. They seem to have every piece of equipment known as to man and it's all brand new and works smoothly. No decor, but the HVAC is great so the place is comfortable and not super humid.
They get 5 stars because the price is such a bargain!!! And they're nice.

The customer experience here was horrible. I called to discuss cancelling my membership because I had moved from the area. I signed up for what I was told was a month to month but was really a 12 month agreement which the employee here told me I was lied to about and was not month to month. So after being told I was lied to for a sale I than was completely blown off. The woman on the phone continued to tell me I was oblivious to the situation, it was not her job because she didn't sign me up, and refused to help me with any inquiries I had. She then without saying anything dumped the phone on another employeee who said his manager was in a meeting but I had to call another location to figure it out. I have spoke with the other location and they have been able to accommodate my request by simply talking it out and coming to an agreeable solution. This was a miserable experience at Boerum Hill and I will NEVER recommend or be back to this location.

Obnoxious cancellation process. Woman on the phone tells me I have to go there to cancel. Online it says in person or by mail. However, no form or detail is provided on how to do that. So obnoxious.
