My favorite workout in NYC. The staff is excellent and I always get a great workout. After one class I'm a regular and always look forward to my time here.

Never knew rowing was so intense. I definitely got a good workout here. You switch off between rowing and floor work. Bring lifting gloves to avoid calluses. Took off a star because they charge studio prices, but they don't even have showers or lockers. They share bathroom with the rest of the floor.

I was looking for the right form of exercise and location getting back into fitness after several years. I came for a fundamentals class with Beth and was hooked! Although I am an older participant and in experienced, she is always patient and respectful, while pushing me to achieve better results. Highly recommend.

Nice studio, great classes and fantastic instructors. I think I like the Union Square space better than the Upper East Side, but I've really enjoyed the classes at both and I will most likely continue to do so. I'm really glad I joined the crew.

The location of the studio is extremely odd, it's located in a office building on a floor made of suites full of Doctors, Mental Health Specialist, and the load music is insulated to help the traveling pounding if he music, however I'm sure the bass can be felt vibrating through the walls building to the quiet therapy and Psychiatry Professionals suite.

Walking into a packed elevator full ready to get fired up for the class and your put into work mode with elevator music and suits and students and catering hall guests. Not usually the things that get me in the mood to kill it a fitness class. If you can put yourself in a bubble until you get there you're golden. Just don't sweat on anyone in the elevator on the way out.

I love city row! It's a great cardio workout & it also incorporates weights. The instructors keep the classes new every time and I always feel like I got a great workout at the end of class.

Bought a 5 pack through Gilt City and have really enjoyed adding this to my routine! I sweat like hell in class and always feel fully 'worked out' when I leave. The instructors are fantastic and are great at pushing the class. Definitely plan to continue layering these classes into my routine!

I was hooked after the first class. City Row is amazing - hands down one of the best workouts in the city. To start, it's a challenging workout but it's made fun and you know you can get through it because the instructors are motivating and truly help you understand and get to your best form. The facility is also great - very clean and it's always nice to have beautiful city views when you're working out. What's best about this workout is how you feel afterwards - no other workout gives me the energy level that I have after CityRow.

I started going to CITYROW to learn other ways to get cardio in without flaming my shin splints. I started with the Fundamentals with Beth and haven't looked back. I love the workout and the upbeat positive atmosphere that CITYROW brings. You get a full body workout and it's so fun that you don't even realize that the hour has passed. The instructors are all great and the staff are friendly, they focus on strength and technique more than speed, which really pushes you to focus and dig deep in your pushes. I highly recommend this place for a really awesome, sweaty workout!

She's funny but challenges you to push your limits, and plays awesome music so the class flies by and I leave every time feeling stronger and sweaty (in a good way!)

City Row is great! The instructors put a lot of emphasis on form which is important. The machines themselves are great. They make it really easy to track your progress and tell how hard you're really working. It's a fun class. Definitely recommend rowing over spin class - it's a lot harder to cheat.

Completely different experience than I expected, in a good way! I thought the class would consist of 45 minutes of pure rowing ... instead it's a combination of rowing and mat work (core, weights, etc.). Probably the most impressive part was the fact that they really focus on your form and teach you the proper way to row; unlike other boutique studios. This will definitely be a regular rotation for me.
