I tried to go here using a Class Pass that my wife booked. Something came up and I went in her place. The Row House refused to let me substitute in although Class Pass' policy allows it.
Things happen and every other fitness studio we have been to has been friendly and accommodating. Not the Row House. They wanted to charge me for the class even though they had a free class promo going on. The Row House doesn't care about treating customers well in order to grow their business. I would suggest going somewhere else simply for a better customer experience.
I started rowing regularly in November and I am in love. It is hard to find a cardio workout that has a strength component included in its primary movement and the erg can give you both. Since starting my unlimited membership I have seen the exact changes in my body that I wanted and I am feeling stronger and healthier than ever. Thank you!
It is a treat to be part of a fitness and wellness community where positivity is ingrained in the fabric of the culture. Once in the door, you know that the staff genuinely enjoys what they do as it is evident in their interactions with clients-- they strive to ensure that individual goals and needs are being met and exceeded. Row House Chelsea Staff and Instructors are friendly and amazing people. This is a gym where all walks of life can come in and feel safe. Its a non judgment zone and the community they have built pushes everyone to better themselves one day at a time. The workouts are great and leave you wanting to come back for more.
Row House helps you strive to surpass your goals in the gym and in life. I have been rowing with Row House for about three years and I highly recommend Row House to anyone wanting to find a supportive community, help you get into shape, recover from injury or better yourself then Row House is the place to be.
I discovered Row House a few years ago, and I'm obsessed. The classes are tough (but so much fun too)! You can get an amazing cardio workout + strength training in every class. Plus, the coaches and the staff are fantastic.
I was a bit late but both Ben and Bethany were both so welcoming! My first time rowing and Ben gave me a great rundown on proper form fundamentals before I stepped into class. Once I got into class, Bethany hopped on the erg next to me and helped me get in rhythm with the class. Throughout the class, she made adjustments to my form and motivated me to power through. Great atmosphere, energy and, especially, stellar people. Great vibe all around.
Tried this class for the first time this weekend. My instructor was very helpful and reached out to me after class ended to explain some techniques. I was surprised that she was so helpful! Will be back

I really enjoy the structure of the class. It is a great low impact cardio workout - much less harsh on the joints than running. The instructors are great and the facility is very nice and clean. The instructors actually pay attention to form and correct you as you go, which is a lot more than other classes do.

Rowing has been recommended to me as an exercise by many doctors to help with my back. Row House provides a great way to get into rowing. The combination of great instructors and rowing together as a class really encourages you to push yourself.

I love Row House! Always a quality work out with friendly staff and instructors! They have everything you need in the locker rooms and their facilities are always clean! The Chelsea rooftop is quiet awesome too!

First time taking a class like this and will definitely be back! Staff was very welcoming and informative. The facility is clean and accommodating. The class was a great workout and so much fun. Highly recommend!

Great equipment, fun class. Great instruction, motivation, and workout plan by Jason Lee - focused on form, pace and power. I'm a beginner, rowing for 6 months and would recommend this to anyone looking to get into rowing.
Best workout ever! Great facility, awesome classes and above all, awesome and motivating instructors (can't go wrong with anyone of them). The front office staff are friendly and accommodating. They really are the best.
I have been to different fitness studios. ROWHOUSE stands out! The staff is amazing from the front of the house to the back! Jordan and the other front desk employees always make me feel like I am a part of a team/club. Recently I had a record breaking moment thanks to my instructor Gretchen. She noticed the adjustment of my feet during a class and corrected them. Instantly I felt more powerful and in control ( I am competitive with my progress) My average power significantly increased! I didn't realize that even with dim lighting and a group of other rowers, my technique was being observed. Thank you for helping me excel!!!
Really friendly and nice staff. I am a beginner and felt like they spent time to explain things so it was good for all levels.

Row House is the perfect place for someone who wants to still feel that team sport environment while working out. Every coach builds that team mentality, that we're all in it together, the struggle and the push. The coaches all have their own styles, and they change up their own classes over time to keep things fresh, and I've loved every class. The coaches are also very engaged, working on the erg with you and also walking around providing positive reinforcement and correction on form.
You can always get better at rowing so your job is never done, it never becomes an easy workout. It's a challenge each time you walk in the door.

It was my first time taking a rowing class. I really enjoyed myself at the class. Scott did a great job keeping the class motivated and upbeat! It was a great first experience and I looking forward to coming back.

Great workout. Bethany is the best. The floor exercises are a little difficult but it gets easier with time. Love the free chobani drink offer

Row house is Great! I like that it's something different, a good workout and really low impact. I have herniated discs in lower my back so I have to choose my cardio wisely and they helped with my form and made sure I didn't hurt myself. I took the full-body cardio class- you warm up with a hard ride, then get off the machine for some traditional circuit work with squats, lunges, planks, etc... for about 10-15 minutes... then blow out the class with some intense intervals on the machine- It was very perfect!

Great cardio Workout ! The class is divided between 3 parts, 1 rowing, 2 floor exercise 3 more rowing ! Don't think that you will have to have big arms , this is all about the legs. So great exercise for girls!
The studio is very cute. People are extremely nice and attentive. My favorite instructor is Gretchen! She is really attentive and makes sure to give you a give workout !
The showers are good, with the normal amenities . But no hair brush ...
They accept class pass also !
