One of the best yoga studios in the City, it's hard to believe that this location will be closing at the end of this month, and relocating to a smaller location across the street. I've been coming here since they opened in 2009, and have always thought that this studio was very well run, clean, spacious, excellent facilities, and always had a professional staff with courteous people. It will definitely be missed, and it's a shame that this location is another victim of rising rents in Soho.

One of the best yoga facility I have been to. The front desk and nice and polite. The teachers are fabulous and knowledgeable. If you have previously been injured, they always make sure to teach adapted version of the poses. Wonderful. 5 stars all the way!

Yogaworks Soho has changed my life. Day one, I was blessed to having a cold as a teacher and a coach . However every teacher I have experience brings their own uniqueness to the practice of yoga and meditation

So far it has been a fantastic experience for me. The studios are nice and spacious. I also read some of the other reviews and I have a different opinion. I must say that the staff have been super friendly and extremely helpful. The teachers have been great. I definitely recommend YogaWorks Soho.

This place is dangerous. I was in a 2-3 Vinyasa Flow class this week and the instructor came over and pushed me into a pose my body was not remotely ready for. I've been practicing yoga for 10+ years and have NEVER had a teacher push me that hard even when I asked her to stop. I thought she was about to tear my quad. I had to leave class and 3 days later am still in pain. Guide my pose all you want. Come over and correct my hand in warrior 2 or something but you should NEVER shove someone's body into something especially when you A: don't know them and B: they wince in pain and ask you to stop. I will never be returning to this location.

I've been to a bunch of classes here and a TON of other yoga studios. They charge $2 for mat rental (okay okay, i get it) except the mats are not great.... The teachers are all over the place - some are good, but none are amazing. They also often overbook the classes, and on more than one occasion, i've seen them turn people away. Do you want to shower? You better bring a towel, because you have to RENT those too! This is NY, you have to carry everything with you (i miss my car) - and i cannot carry my gym clothes, work stuff, yoga mat AND towel. On the positive, the space is pretty and large. There is definite room for improvement across the board. I tried to love it, but it's just not worth the price.

First off - it's donation based, which is amazing for my budget.Second - it's one of the few places where it's not 99% women, there's actually a diversity in gender here, which I really appreciate. Third - People were all really respectful of space (in the class I went to), so while it was crowded, there was still breathing room. The only thing I had a hard time with was that there were moments I couldn't hear the teacher, and since she was walking around, there were moments where it was hard to tell who to follow. I'll definitely be back as my schedule allows it =)

I love the classes here. But the staff memebrs are not very friendly and I hate they do not have a "shoe-free" area near the studios that our feet always get dirty before I enter the studio, and I need to step them onto my mat.

I felt bored, and almost fell asleep in class. It also felt too robotic and lacked the genuine human touch.

FRAUDULENT!
Signed up for one month of yoga with them. After I left NY, back to Europe, they kept on charging me over a 100 dollars every month. After reaching out to them over 4 times asking them to stop the standing order they just bluntly ignored my messages and kept charging me now for over 6 months after I left NYC. Absolute rip-off shop. Do not go there, EVER. This issue still hasn't been resolved, they still charge me and no one ever got back to me until this day.

good experience there. i've written them 2 emails to ask questions about monthly memberships and 1. didn't write back at all and 2. wrote back and did not answer my question. for as much as they charged, they should be writing back to their emails. ridiculous when there's 600 yoga studios in NYC, you would think they could write back to a question. Unacceptable.

This is a beautiful, clean yoga studio with a wide range of varied classes, including non-yoga ones such as Scultpworks and BarWorks. The instructors are very engaged, providing appropriate alignment corrections and fully explaining how each exercise should be performed.

My main dissatisfaction with the studio is their mat policy. You have to bring your own mat for every class and if you would like to store it you have to do so for 6 months at minimum. For someone in the city for the summer only, this was highly inconvenient.

While the facility is beautiful, I took the most poorly instructed class I have yet in NYC (and I've attended ~10 studios). Low energy teaching combined with a mediocre sequence and incorrect cues. Then the showers only had cold water...
