I've started coming here last year, stopped to go to a much better studio (shout out to Dancebody), and then came back for their summer unlimited package. Wish I would have stayed at DB.
Pros: -Some great trainers (Jasmine!)
Cons: -Some not so great trainers
- Insane cancellation policy. If you arrive 5 minutes after class had started you aren't allowed to take the class due to the warm-up being finished. I was 7 minutes late after a delayed subway, cancelled Uber, and it pouring rain. I ran to the studio and wiped out on the sidewalk. After all of my effort, I was denied access and charged $20. The same week I was charged an additional $20, even though I had signed in but left early.
-Showers are always clogged and slippery.
- Other studios offer dry shampoo and feminine products.
-Limited class schedule. There's not as many offerings for Dance Cardio as there should be considering it's widely known for that. Even Tramp Cardio is only offered approx 3-4 times a week.
I saw much better results going to Dancebody, then to BBS. At DB, I burn more calories and my heart rate is at 80% for the majority of the class. If you are fit and looking for a challenge, I encourage you to try a different studio than BBS. It's very easy to plateau here.
