First time at Liftonic! Lauren Bustos was my instructor and gave me great feedback to improve my form. Love the quick pace and environment of the class.

Workouts are designed so that you can handle weights that are wayyyy heavier than you thought you could. I've been coming here for a about a year & regularly for the past three months & I can really see the results! All the instructors are awesome but Veronika is my favorite. Best value workout in the area in my view.

I LOVE Liftonic.

It's really made significant difference in my body strength, posture, and mind. Before starting LT about a year ago, I had never done weight training and never worked out at the gym because I had no idea what to do (only ever did cardio).

The instructors are great (s/o to Hilary, Veronica, and Radan!). They really guide you through the exercise movements and make you aware of what muscles you should be feeling for each workout. This is SO helpful to someone with very little body awareness.

Since going to LT, I've felt much more in-sync with my body during everyday activities and feel much stronger. It really makes a world of difference. Now, when I have more than a week off from LT my body feels terrible and I can't stand it.

I would recommend LT to everyone. I even took my dad, who's in his late 60s, to a class and he loved it!

Bruh, do you even lift? If you don't go to Liftonic, I doubt it. Group weight training is going to be the next craze. I don't think NYC realizes what a monster this place is.

This is the most underrated, yet effective fitness class in NYC. Weightlifting has never been as intensive yet fun. The lighting is perfect, the exercises are simple, and the movements are super slow. Radan / the trainers will guide you every step of the way using creative dumbell / bodyweight exercises.

As a result, using even a lighter weight will make you super sore. And for women worried about bulking up, don't worry, it won't happen. You don't just magically wake up one day looking like Arnold. And if you do, stop lifting.

The leg/butt day here is the best lower body workout in the city. Across 6-7 exercises, you will work out your butt in ways you or your therapist didn't even think possible. Get ready to be sore for a few days.

Each day is a different muscle group. I highly recommend coming before this place gets discovered by the people in Murray Hill.

Liftonic is exactly what I've been looking for in a group fitness class. The workouts are guaranteed to make you break a sweat and leave you surprisingly sore the next day. The teachers are great at pushing you to lift heavier than you ever thought you could, but all of the exercises are still very doable no matter your skill level. And the results are undeniable, whether it's suddenly seeing definition in my thighs or just making it easier to carry my groceries home.

This place might not be the best studio, but the workout itself defiantly is! I have had the most intense workout here among all I've tried. without any exaggeration you see results and you become stronger each time you step in. Love it

I LOVE Liftonic. I took my first class on a whim via FitReserve, and I've been trying to go weekly ever since! I love the structure of the classes: sets of different exercises, all explained upfront and given with variations and weight options. Every trainer I've had has been fantastic and I feel amazing after each class. Give it a try!

If you are looking to get into weight lifting then this is your new jam. I have never been big on lifting weights...mainly because I didn't know what I was doing and I really didn't want to be the girl doing the wrong moves with bad form in front of all the gym rats at the gym. A friend told me about Liftonic and suggested I check it out because it may help me become more confident in handling weights on my own. It's located under ground in the Meatpacking area. The studio is dimly lit with benches all around the room. Each area has TVs on the ceiling so that when you are laying on the bench you can see the TVs. What's really great about the TV's is that they show you what the instructor is doing so that you can follow along visually. The instructors are fantastic...especially Courtney and Troy. They really take the time to help you with form and getting the move down correctly. They are also really motivating. I love this place so much that I have brought clients in with me to experience it. I wish they had more locations around the city...I would probably go way more often if they did!

This is a great class! You can feel your body being sculpted as your doing the exercises. It's a good way to learn how to use weights and not be intimidated at the gym. Instructors pay close attention to your form and keep you motivated!

I have been doing Liftonic for the past few weeks and am in love! This is perfect if you've ever been intimidated in the weight room, this class will teach you how to use weights and what exercises to use. It's challenging because you always have to increase the weight, which is how you progress and build muscle.

Each instructor has their own style, but you get the same from each class, challenging exercises and lots of sets

Great, effective workout. As I do mostly running and basically flail around whenever I'm at a gym, I love how Liftonic essentially acts as a personal trainer - allowing me to incorporate very targeted and very much needed supplemental strength training into my week. I find the focus on compound movements to be especially relevant for being able to continue running injury-free.

This is my most favorite workout! I've seen better definition in my arms than ever before starting from the 3rd class. Chest and Shoulders is a must every week for me and I fit in as many other classes as I can. Love learning good form and being more comfortable with what weights to grab for what. Wish it was closer to my apt but worth the trek a few times a week for sure and helps there's a citbike dock right outside

I have enjoyed every class at Liftonic - from each instructor to every type of class (full body abs and core is my favorite!). The classes are easy to follow and show you techniques to incorporate into your own workouts. Every workout is intense and fulfilling - favorite studio in the city!

Liftonic is a really challenging workout (in the best way possible). I have taken four different instructors and they are all good. In particular I enjoy full body with Lauren and chest & shoulders with Troy. Would highly recommend Liftonic if you are looking for a solid weight training class that incorporates some core work.

Love this studio! I was so intimidated to go here at first but now this is one of my favorite classes. Challenging workouts with great instructors who really focus on good form. These classes have really gotten me into weightlifting and I always leave feeling so accomplished after.

I've gone to 8 classes so far and I'm seeing a difference in my physique. Instructors are very motivating and approachable. They focus on form and reaching "technical failure" to help build muscle and lean up fast. (I think it is better than pure cardio for fat burning.) It is like having a personal trainer without the cost! It is also nice that the classes include people at all levels, so you don't feel intimidated.

As someone who has played organized sports their whole life I have always brushed off the idea of taking a group class as something that people who don't know how to work out resort to. I couldn't be more wrong about that assumption when it comes to Liftonic, in just one month I have found that the targeted muscle group workouts leave me more sore than any individual workouts that I do alone in my local gym and the results speak for themselves. I've seen a noticeable difference in my strength and flexibility in the past month and would encourage everyone from newcomers to seasoned athletes to try the Liftonic program.

LOVE this gym! Super clean, effective workouts, and awesome trainers! They push and motivate you to do the best! The studio itself is a very cool vibe with the benches, weights, and tvs to see what you are doing so you are NEVER lost. Highly recommend this gym to anyone who likes weightlifting but is bored of the "typical" gym workout they usually do.

I love this studio! I wish more places in NY did pure strength classes that emphasized specific muscle groups. I have bad knees, so it's great to be able to find classes that just work out arms. The coaches are good, and I find that I learn new exercises that I can do at the gym by myself. If only they had showers, it would be the perfect studio.

Liftonic has become one of my favorite workouts. The class is always challenging and the instructors take the time to really explain how to have proper form. They have classes tailored to whatever part of your body you would like to focus on. Courtney, Veronica and Lauren are all fantastic instructors.

I was on the hunt for a work out class that was motivating and worth the time and money. Thankfully, Liftonic is all of the above. It is unlike any other work out class I have tried in NYC. The instructors are informative and the classes are TOUGH. But if you are looking for a challenge and a change in your body, than Liftonic is definitely for you. The only negative is that there is no locker room and only one dimly lit bathroom.

Liftonic is an awesome studio. I had never done any weight lifting whatsoever and had always been intimidated by it. Liftonic was a great way for me to be introduced into this type of exercise and improve on it. The instructors are all amazing. If you're new to weight lifting in general the LT101 class is a good beginner's class to learn the basics.

A great class for strength training and core work. Because of the variation of the exercises, I'm consistently sore. What I love most about this class is it can be as intense as you want it to be; the flexible weight range means you can go as hard as you want - though the instructors constantly push you. I've found that all of the instructors are good (not the case with many studios). I'd just recommend getting there a little early as the class always fills up and some bench locations are better than others.

The glowing reviews are spot on. Classes at Liftonic are excellent and totally effective. The trainers lead challenging, smart, safe and effective classes - they find the perfect balance between challenging you to work hard while staying attentive to form to ensure you're working out intelligently. While classes are low impact (and have been super useful for me in strengthening while recovering from an injury), I always end up working hard and leave completely sweaty and happy. Classes with Hillary, Veronica and Radan highly recommended!

I signed up for a month at Liftonic and am HOOKED! I feel like in the 50 min class it goes quickly and I am getting a strong workout to really tone and strengthen my body. Different classes also target different body parts which I think is very effective. I highly recommend it and look forward to keeping it up! GET INVOLVED!!!

Want to see a change in definition? Do the work and the results show. I love coming to Courtney for a challenging, but fun workout. The kind that leaves you feeling like you got your butt kicked-but also like you could take on a mountain. The classes are as intense as you make them, the exercises are well thought out and balanced but ultimately the weight you choose will determine how you progress. Instructors are great and are always making sure you are safe and have good form. I highly recommend Liftonic as a part of your regular routine.

Liftonic is the best workout class I've ever taken. I've done everything from spin to barre to other strength training classes but nothing compares to the energy and challenging routine here. I've seen and felt the results immediately. The instructors set you up for success with great energy to push yourself - it feels like a private training session. Highly recommend switching your routine and taking classes here.

I love this place!! NYC has nothing else like it - each day is scheduled to focus on a different body part (ex: Saturday's are for full body weight lifting, Tuesday's are for just legs and butt, etc). I feel so strong and inspired every time I leave. To me, there's nothing better than slowly lifting heavy weights in a dark room with fun music and hot instructors!! I can feel myself getting stronger and stronger with every class. 100% recommend Liftonic to anyone interested in having a blast while getting stronger :)

Beat based lifting...Instructors lead you on the beat, lifting in time with the music. I have definitely noticed a difference in my body in a short time. I get more out of this class than an hour at the gym. They use the phrase, "We're the only studio that wants you to fail."....as in lift to failure. Then your muscles can truly rebuild and make change. Great stuff! Radar Sturm is the brains behind the studio and has the best musicality and a great workout. All the instructors do a fine job. Courtney will give some advanced moves and really push. You can't really go wrong with any of them!

I like how the classes target different areas of the body each day so you can go most days of the week and not over-do it. I'd say it helps to have some experience lifting weights because there are quite a few people in class and they aren't able to correct everyone's form each time. But they're very approachable at the end of class or beginning to ask questions if you need tips on form. Great with modifications too. Class goes by fast!

Great studio and welcoming staff! I love the emphasis on weights and strength training. Most of my classes have been with Radan who is the studio owner. He is an excellent instructor, very warm, motivating and emphasizes correct form. He encourages everyone to increase the weights with each set so classes are challenging and great way to improve. I only wish the studio was closer!

Amazing class! All of the instructors are knowledgeable, talented and push you in the best way possible. Highly recommend Liftonic for all fitness levels - there are a variety of classes that focus on different areas of the body, which is great and allows you to choose your own target areas. You can really tailor the workouts to benefit whatever you need, while also walking out feeling like you got an awesome workout in a cool, fun atmosphere. Def sign up!

I love Liftonic! One of my new favorite strength training classes. The teachers are excellent ... very knowledgeable, hands-on and attentive to form and alternative moves for those with injuries. The studio is clean and they play great music. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a low impact, effective workout!

I love Liftonic! The classes are well organized and no time is wasted between movements and sets. I have been to many studios in NYC and this is the best place to challenge yourself and see results! The movement is focused, targeted and intelligently planned to push your limits. The facilities are really clean and you always have a good amount of room to yourself. I love taking class with Hilary- her music is great and she always pushes you further than you think you can go! Highly recommend!
