North Bergen location is my location of use. Joe the manager and his crew under him are all great. Everything top notch about this place. Can not go wrong working out at this location. Add on: Joe the manager is no longer at this location.

Basing this review on my first encounter to sign up to this location. No explanation of levels of service, just pointed to a tablet to sign up, then no tour of facility and offerings, literally stood there and pointed to all the different areas. Left with no key card or indication that I am now a member of the gym. Told to come back for card and photo because it takes an hour to process membership. What is this? 1986? I will update this review if things get better. So far not feeling too loved at PF.

FOR ONLY $23 per month with no contract strings attached, you can go to any Planet Fitness anywhere even internationally and exercise in the cleanest of chain gyms for the lowest price to be found. You can bring a friend every time you go there, exercise on their workout machines, and relax on their massage beds, massage chairs and lounges.

I love this gym but one thing i hate about planet fitness is that they do the Offers and promotions AFTER you get your membership which sucks! they tried to play me so i took one star off! But i love the Gym im loosing weight quickly here

I love Planet Fitness. Plenty of every kind of equipment. Sewell, NJ is fantastic. The Fairlawn, NJ location is a bit crowded but not too bad.

This location is very large compared to a few others I've been too! The place is new so most everything is in good condition. The exercise bikes new updating other than that no complaints.

I had 1year contract, but then when it expires u don't share of it n they keep charge you until u stop by n cancel it. The lady over the phone says it charges me because my contract expired but not my membership did. I wouldn't put 1star because I guess I didn't read all the words in the contract so some way my fault..but also they could at least remind of me by text or whatever n how membership keep going after my 1yr contract expired??!!
Other than that clean n not bad gym!

Can't beat the value here. Decent equipment, but not much in the way of frills. In the c. 1 year I have been going here it has never seemed to be overcrowded.

This location is very spacious and clean. There are a lot of cardio machines so uou don't ever have to wait. Love that it's 24 hours and only 10 dollars a month. Wish there was one closer to me though.

I called on a Monday to try out the gym because a family member was a member there. Was looking to cancel my membership at Fitness Factory and switch over. I spoke to a guy who told me one thing and then when I get there, admits that he wasn't fully honest and in the meantime gave me a nasty attitude about it. The guy was absolutely rude and cost the boss a few more potential members. Dude should be fired. Hispanic skinny guy. So rude, I'd rather pay the extra $20 and stick with Fitness Factory and their friendly staff. Stay away. If the dude is rude and disrespectful to potential customers, I cannot imagine how he treats the current members. If the management wants to reach out and speak, my family and I will all stay away until that dude is fired from his job which he doesn't deserve to keep.

This gym is very clean, the staff are super friendly and it's not full of buff guys or girls in sports bras that dont look like they need to work out. It's full of just regular people trying to very in shape.

I've been a member since last fall and to be honest I'm only there because it's the closest gym from my house in Bogota, NJ. Showers are always a big problem. In the winter, not hot enough and now in the summer, no water pressure at all. When you tell the staff about it, they just say that it was working before, "but someone will check". It seems that these franchise owners only want money and don't care about running the business and customer's needs. I just hope something more innovative rises up soon. Probably will end up like Toys r us. It's the only way they learn!

Clean and new so happy they opened up a new location because the North Bergen one would get really packed. That's not to say that from 6-9 on the weekdays this location isn't bad. It can become a mad house. Can't forget the new year new me months as well.

Great PF location with friendly accommodating staff. This location is rather new compared to the NB location. I prefer to come here over the NB location because of staff and the new equipment. Its also less busy and just overall a nicer enviroment.

Just joined the place. Like it. The only thing that I was disappointed was with the personal trainer. Instead of helping me he was socializing. I requested some help because I didn't exercise in while and need some guidance. My favorite part is the massage

You get what you pay for. The staff is a NIGHTMARE. They severely lack customer service skills, have poor communication and are RUDE. I'm truly astonished that the manager Aliyah allows employees of this caliber to work the front desk and represent Planet Fitness.
I've only been a member for a few months and have only experienced HEADACHES with this gym. For instance, I was harassed by an employee on the gym floor which was not only embarrassing but interfered with my set. Another example is I slipped on a huge sheet of ice in their parking lot which caused back injuiries. When I complained to the staff, they did nothing about it! They left the ice so another paying customer can injure themselves.
The Fairview, NJ location is a joke!
I highly advise everyone to spend the extra $15 a join a real, professional establishment.

On the small side but fits in everything you need. Workers are very nice. Some dont know to much about the place yet but its still new so no worries there. Price is mkre than reasonable and best overall gym experience Ive had so far.
