Great vibe great people fun workouts
Dropped in for a class during a recent trip to NYC. Nothing but a great experience: emails were answered promptly, the gym is in a convenient location, and Lady was a tremendous instructor. Definitely check out CrossFit Red Hook if you are looking for a great workout.
I was slightly wary attending a Crossfit class for the first time, and in an area I didn't know. But all that wariness was dispelled by how welcoming the people here were.
From the help I received via email, to my introduction to the trainers when I arrived, throughout the classes and afterwards. I really appreciated the atmosphere in the gym and the classes. The workouts were great too.
Let me first start off by saying, CrossFit Red Hook wasn't my original box, but I always had a lot of respect and admiration for the communal and family-friendly environment that CrossFit Red Hook, Coach Kyle and Robye have created here.
I've been fortunate to have been in boxes in London, Ireland & down South, so I've a decent idea of what feels like a good box and a well run operation. There's one other box in Williamsburg which is ran with the same ethos and ethic, and these guys are all cut from the same cloth - humble, decent, hard-working and warm people. So if it's family and fitness you seek - look no further, this place is hands down one of the best in the state of New York.
Awesome coaches & owner, supportive community, convenient class times at well-maintained gym that's the perfect size, with a great neighbourhood feel. I can't say enough good things about CrossFit Red Hook! Folks are extremely encouraging and helpful, especially when one is new to CrossFit. Working out here is a blast!
