Generally I was disappointed because of small details that were overlooked here. At check in I had to sign in with a canday cane pen, it was in April. The walk through before was done by the maintenance team and rushed, the "snacks" where stale trays of peanuts and m&ms and cheap paper cups were used for water.

The massage itself was good but the massage chair was old and the head rest continued to fall out of place.

Let's talk about the pros first, because they're rather short. Good tea and drinks, and they are complimentary, and the atmosphere is nice and eclectic.
As for the cons, I wasn't given a proper tour as there was no male staff members to show me around the male "section" of the spa (that's right, it's not co-ed), so this is not the best place to go to for couples. Just in general, it seems like they're understaffed on the weekends. Price is outrageous, even with a Groupon. The lack of abundance of facilities to use for general admission makes this even more unjustifiable. Also, was ready to jump into the jacuzzi, when the guy got out and it was revealed he was naked. So apparently, they allow naked people to share a jacuzzi, but not for hetero couples to share a steam room? Highly recommend any Russian sauna place instead; you'll get more for your money's worth. Would not visit again :)

Beautiful sanctuary in the financial district. Enjoyed a couples bath and massage with a friend and it was divine. Staff and masseuse were all very lovely and friendly. The change room and shower facilities were beautiful and enjoyed the whirlpool, steam room and sauna. The cranberry and elderflower water was so refreshing and the vanilla tea was beautiful too. Would definitely recommend a visit if you need to de-stress for a few hours.

I would recommend this spa if you are planning to have a treatment such as facial or massage, is definitely not a day spa as is very small, they only have available 1 jacuzzi, 1 sauna and 1 steam room. They give you a little snack and staff if very friendly.
I would say is totally worth it if you have an appointment for a treatment but only to hang out unless you are like around and you just want a quick reset I wouldn't recomend it.
Great groupon deal!

I really enjoyed my first visit here, the place is nice and cozy, friendly staffs. Go early before your appt to enjoy the amenities or after. Bring your bathing suit. Will definitely go back again.

This place is the worst. Mind boggling how a place could be so bad. Went to their gym and felt like I was transported to the early to mid 90's. Not sure why the owners aren't embarrassed by all the out of order equipment.

What a relaxing, comforting environment! Come here if you want a true escape from the city! Cleanliness and serenity are key here, which is great. I highly recommend The Setai Club and Spa Wall Street.

Ever since Vinny left this place has gone completely down hill. The Setai in South Beach would be shamed to be associated with the now dump. Blowing drying hair service right smack in the middle of locker room? Really? Acqua Grotto more dirty than clean and forget about getting a cucumber for your eyelids. Rationing towels down to the disgusting showers and bathroom--- this place is horrendous! Messy lounge and what happened to the soft chanting music to relax to? I stopped going for a while - hoping for a change. Then I get there today and it is worse than ever! I really liked my therapists there, but the rundown of the Setai cannot overcompensate the efforts of the best therapists.

The staff make this spa intolerable. I had a massage and a facial booked and had to wait 15 minutes in the "relaxing" waiting area for both treatments. The front desk had a visitor come and they were yelling and laughing very loudly non stop. How can one relax while listening to their hollering. The lady doing my facia, however, was fantastic.

This Setai does not live up to its name. A spa that claims to be of this caliber should not be charging $185 for a massage when their amenities do not work. And when brought to their attention, all the people that worked there were incredibly rude. I have never been treated as horribly as I was by the staff at spa. I will never return here again. Frankly, I should have known that it was going down hill given I was able to get the massage appointment at the last minute. When I showed up, I learned I was one of only two appointments that day. It makes sense given the way they treat customers.
