My favorite location. I travel out of my way from the last stops of the Bronx train all the way down here for a good work out session. I can't tell you how clean and how respectful the staff is here. I love that it's not super crowded with hang out crowds like some gyms I've experienced this with around the Bronx and some parts of the 1 train line.

98 percent of the equipment is in good working order. The staff is mostly friendly and outgoing. I do wish that Lunk Alarm thing worked. My gripe is really with the members and the clubs inability to control their behavior. The loud phone conversations, slamming of weights, singing, dancing and inability to put weights back in their place is getting on my nerves. The locker rooms and tanning booths could be cleaner. I know it's the least expensive option, but less expensive and cheap are different concepts.

The lower level always smells like sewage. This review has been downgraded to one star because the showers rarely have hot water. The front desk staff look like a deer in headlights when you ask them to resolve. They often suggest that the customer speak with the maintenance crew or building management - I wonder if all that leg work comes with a discount..

Amazing place. The price is unbelievable for what you get. The hours are great and staff friendly. I have no complains. Love it.

this gym is so nice, clean, and convenient for its area. the staff is better from what it was and its overall amazing. last but not least the kid with the nice braids and smile is amazing.

This location desperately needs an upgrade!!! The showers are filthy with floor scum. You must wear flipflops in there. It seems they have NEVER scrubbed down the shower walls. 1/3 of the treadmills have some type of problem. Half of the Arc Trainers also have problems. They also need to fix their cable connection. Out of 33 channels, only 17 come in clear. They only have 2 rollers and 10 floor mats which is not enough and we cannot bring our own.
I can say more but these are the most urgent issues that need to be fixed.

It's just a convenient gym with all that you have. For $20, you have access to all the PF worldwide. Amazing

I love this planet fitness right in the heart of the financial district and wall street.
It's so convenient and it's in a basement area but it's always very quiet and never crowded especially in the evening.
The staff is pretty good and the place is well maintained and fairly clean.

It's usually clean. A lot of times they run out of cleaning towels to wipe the machine. It's 90 degrees outside right now and as per usual the Air Conditioning is broken... Making it really hard to go in without feeling like your about to pass out. Yes it's in a basement. The equipment is old from at least 6-7 years ago. I've been coming to this gym for a very long time. I've visited other planet fitness gyms and the equipment is new and all have USB ports... These do not... Which sucks!!!!!!! Otherwise, it's a good gym.,

This location is not crowded and I get to have a great workout every morning. The staff is very professional and nice. This gym is clean and does not have a homeless people problem like other locations that I've visited.

I really enjoyed coming to this location until the recent change in hours. (No longer 24 hours) Honestly this was one of the main reasons I LOVED fidi.

As a bartender in FIDI I try to stay healthy and this was the best way to get a work out in after a shift. I get out of work around 10:30-11:00, just enough time to be told they're closing. I know there are still other 24 hour locations, but this is very close to the SI ferry.

Honestly I have little use for the membership any more if I can't use this location.

This was my first time going to this gym. I love the set up. The shower area isn't as clean as the one in queens, but it not bad.

Great place for exercise. Open 24 hrs Monday to Friday..... Unfortunately for me it is no longer 24 hrs. I have to look for another gym.

Plenty of machines and equipment but there is a strong odor on the third floor which houses the free weights and lockers

This is my go to gym. I've been to numerous ones across the city, in different boroughs and this is the only PF with enough spacing and equipment to handle larger crowds without sacrificing workouts to long wait times, etc.

YOU HAVE TO BREATH TO EXERCISE!!!!!! This gym smells horrible! Not like sweaty people but like the WORSE women's restroom on the planet. Super fishy. Its unbearable! Could be a nice gym minus the smell! NO NEED FOR A LONG REVIEW. Just walk in and as you get halfway down the stairs, the smell will knock you out! TKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please stop blasting music on weekends in empty gym. Okay for weekdays when all cardio machines in use but TOO LOUD in empty gym. Can't watch my Netflix, cannot hear even with headphones full blast.

Overall a great deal. Abundant cardio machines.

Pending on the location you go to and how busy it is when you go, you should be quite happy with this inexpensive place. The differencw between thia and sonething like Lifetime Fitness is the equiment isn't quite as nice and there is no swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, or tennis/raquet ball ct. That is why it 1/5 of the price. If you juat want to treadmill and do some light stuff, it should be more than adequate. If you want to use a reguar bench press, swim, or socialize with wealtheir people this is not the place.

Joined about a month ago. The gym does get extremely crowded around peak times (5.00-7.00 pm) but because it is such a big gym, it is able to accommodate most people.

The smith rack that most people go to for bench/squat is almost 100% taken since there are only 3. The gym is very spacious and the airflow is particularly good on the 2nd floor, but smells terrible near the locker rooms.

If you're like me and do mostly calisthenics, then Planet Fitness would be right for you. But if you are serious about strength training and getting your bench, squat, and deadlift numbers up, I suggest looking for another gym.

It is a nice place, plenty of space and the staff is very friendly and helpful. So far the only trouble is trying to find a time where the bench press is available.

Great, inexpensive gym in FiDi. I do wish they had more free weights. However, for the price, I am happy with the machines (as well as the limited amount of free weights they do have).

Friendly staff, easily accessible in Lower Manhattan. Equipment is updated from time to time and if you put in the work with the equipment that is at hand, you will see results.

A no-nonsense, judgement-free zone with good staff. The 'massage area' could be lit a little more thoughtfully since it's a great place to chill after a workout.

Cheap she l and worth it. Machinery poor. Staff totally not involved or knowledgeable. TV at cardio stations terrible.

Well maintained. Two sets of free weight dumbbells only go to 60lbs. Smith machines for the heavier stuff. It can get really busy from 5-8pm on weekdays.
