Gym has potential based upon the sheer size and amount of equipment, but the experience is the worst me and my boyfriend have ever had:
- Staff is touch and go. In the beginning when we would raise issues like defective and broken machines, the music, anything, some staff was flat out rude, dismissive, clueless/laughed at us and lied.
I have witnessed staff literally scream at a girl in the shower 10 min before closing time, because she was in the shower and wasn't leaving.
They kept screaming, turned the lights off on her (I went to the bathroom for literally less than 2 min, turned on the light to which they turned it off on me too while I was in the stall), and threatened to have a security guard come in and drag her out of the shower stall -- all before the gym was even closed!!
Remembering this, I have knocked off one more star from my rating. If you are open until a certain time (as advertised), then you are OPEN. This is behavior is abusive and absolutely Unacceptable.
- Music is horrendous. You will spend your time listening to 1 of 2, two hour loops "from the parent company". This is comprised of terrible and outdated pop (think britney spears' Oops I did it again, Nelly furtados I'm like a bird), long, slow and sad country ballads, slow jazz --- Not what you want to hear at the gym! You will literally walk in 3 days in a row and hear the same 3-5 songs you heard the day before.
The sad thing is this is easily fixable. There was one person that changed the music to a more current Spotify/Sirius radio station, but apparently "no one know how to change the radio". What weak excuse.
