Underated hotel...Analexa, Lisette & Angey are some of the BEST hotel staff nothing is too much. Mac is a credit to the hotel he printed out our route for our journey the day after and wrote down where we should take the bus etc. The hotel is clean, modern and a convinient.

Absolutely delightful experience from check-in to stay and check-out. The front desk staff are very pleasant and cordial. The amenities are balanced and are just the right touch of business and home creature comforts. The rooms are well thought out and balanced for business and relaxing. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable and I will definitely keep coming back.

Elias and Rich were the best part of this stay! We were forced to find a hotel because of a delay in our cruise ship departing and they made our stay amazing.
Beautiful rooms. Great pool facility. Alex at the bar had us laughing before we knew it. The staff here really cares about your stay and you having the best experience.
Stay here above anywhere else in the area!

Great hotel located at the heart of Jersey City for a reasonable price!! Great location as it is accross by a shopping mall. My room was huge. Its got the essentials such as bars/cafe, convenient mini store, gym, and swimming pools

Was in town for a wedding in Jersey City and wanted some flexibility to go into Manhattan for a few days. This hotel was perfect since it was right next to the Newport PATH station.

A nice place for stay And the PATH metro train in in the next building. It is a convenient place the New York city. This hotel is providing limited items of breakfast only. A good restaurant may be opened here.

Same high standard of a Marriott. Great comfort and supremely convenient for business travellers working either at Jersey City or Mid town Manhattan. Life in the evening could get really dull and boring around here though. But for the price, I'd say one of the best in the area.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. I'm here for work for a month and my stay has been/will be enjoyable. The room is a decent size considering the location and the rest is a ton of stuff to do in the area.

It was great. I did not have any issues while there. Had a complementary coffee in the morning at there Starbucks. Staff was great. Overall a great experience.

Great location - right next to the PATH station, and so easy access to NYC. Good amenities at the hotel. Staff at reception and bistro were helpful. Valet parking worked perfectly.

The hotel is minutes away from the light rail, which can take you throughout Jersey. It's walking distance to the mall. Convenient location with nice sized rooms.

I love this place.
Location is great for city travels.. I would love to check in on a Saturday but unfortunately the friends and family rate don't apply the same way it does on Sunday I would love to stay from Sunday to Monday but the only day that I can take advantage of friends and family at this hotel is from Sunday night to Monday night and then the one day that I can take advantage the parking is 34 daily kind of expensive there is no parking the best thing I like about the hotel are the amenities considering the location the balcony is definitely a plus only problem is it's only under king size beds

Most of the time things were great. The staff was excellent! Only reason for not giving a 5 was the last night there the hot tub was cold and half empty.

The suite was awesome and the staff was great. The only bad thing about my stay was the fact that the couple next door to us had a domestic dispute. We reported the situation and the manager apologized. I will definitely go back this weekend.

The room is clean and I appreciate their liquid soap in the shower. Instead of drying your skin it leaves you perhaps too moisturized. But the hotel has a few issues. First the TV doesn't get CBS. Technically it's on the channel guide but it is just a black screen. Also the power outlets all seem super flimsy. The cover on one just fell off when I tired to use it and the other just pushed into the wall. The outlet in the table came out when I unplugged my cord and the bedside lamp flickered when I touched it. Not quite sure what's going on, perhaps it's all the money they spent on lower liquid soap.

This is my second time staying here. It's great, it's located right by the Path station makes for easy and quick access to NYC with out paying an arm and a leg. Employees are courteous and helpful. The only issue I've ran into both times is the cafe is closed often and hours aren't posted. If your looking for good breakfast food head across the street to Cosi.

The morning bistro staff are some or the rudest I have ever encountered. The"chef" walks around in the same white T-shirt, every day of the week, talking down the customers.
The evening staff is much better, but the look and attitude of the morning "chef" makes me question the cleanliness of the whole operation.
I don't see me staying here again, just because of the morning bistro staff.

First rate hotel with a premium staff to support It! Nothing but superlatives for this establishment. Truly a jewel in the Marriott crown. The biggest plus was having the Path Train station adjacent to the hotel for easy access to all that New York has to offer. A great trip for my family and I....

Very friendly staff that were extra helpful during my extended stay here. The Bistro here does not have a breakfast buffet which for me is fine, I like the a la carte menu better.
One thing that I didn't like is that there is only a single washer/dryer for guest laundry for the entire hotel. If you plan on doing laundry here be prepared for a wait. Fortunately though there are some coin laundromats within easy walking distance from here. Sure you can use the hotel laundry, but then you're paying several dollars per piece of garment you get washed.

Courtyard by Marriott in Jersey City is conveniently located next to the Path Newport station. It is also 2 minutes away from the Newport Mall. The service is awesome there. I would recommend guests to stay there.

This was a very nice family friendly hotel. Very clean. Staff friendly. Within walking distance to a mall, restaurants and movie theater. The rooms were huge and clean but the bathroom was a little small. The view from my room was just the top of the building next to me. It is near the train and subway.

Handy and nice looking hotel with large rooms and comfy beds. Decor a little dated and I would have liked a decent bar and restaurant for breakfast rather than a Starbucks. Breakfast was ok though.

Very nice hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Right next to subway station to go to Manhattan. Only issue I had was the pool being over chlorinated, but the hot tub is nice. Friendly staff.

Lobby has a modern decor, suite is spacious, and the staff are friendly. With the exception of some snacks and a bottle a previous guest had left in a cupboard in the room, everything was really clean. I love this location! Right by Newport, a close walk to Target and the mall, and plenty of places to eat nearby.
