Location was what felt like an office complex. Lots of turns to get here. No designated parking & had to circle around in what we assumed was a mall parking.
Staff wasn't friendly but more indifferent. Checking in or out. Never asked if our first time there or explain the amenities or asked how our stay was.
Worse thing was the Heat/AC unit in the room only blew out cold air even if set to 80 degrees. Resulting in a bad head cold that I am still fighting now.
Would I return? Most likely not especially if there are other places to stay.
Fantastic stay.
Showers had great water pressure and the restroom actually felt clean (not lightly cleaned in between guests) and the pillows were very fluffy.
There is a bus stop just outside that I used every night to get to the Port Authority Bus Terminal within 15-20 minutes and then ventured forth to the nearby city.
Beautiful Hotel hands down. Room was exceptionally cleaned. Front desk staff very welcoming and inviting. Also offers a shuttle for convenience. Highly recommend we will be staying here again.

Good hotel with great amenities. Close proximity to my work place with good eating options around
The room was very clean. The updates were nice. Great value, great location. No frills. Staff was very nice. I thought that the shuttle would be running to the train station regularly but it turned out you have to request it.
**warning**......there have been times when I've read a review & thought....that can't happen to me. Well, this can certainly happen to you! My experience wasn't bad luck but a clear reflection of the unfriendliness & unprofessionalism of their staff.
In a nutshell, 1 of our key cards stopped working to 1 of our rooms. With our stuff inside, they had no course of action to resolve this matter. Consequently, we waited close to 2 hours (missing part of the event) for them 2 get in the room. During this extreme wait, they were incredibly unfriendly. I could go into specifics of that horrible time but just know you've been warned.
I will say 1 thing to be fair. The guy, Herbie, who runs the restaurant onsite, was incredibly nice & professional. He's the only 1.
My family and I stayed at this hotel last month and it was the worst hotel experience ever. We checked in to change before a big event and because of this hotel, we missed the first three hours of the event...basically missing the entire event. My nephew put bags in the the room and went to return the luggage cart, when he returned the door would not unlock and the bags were locked inside. After going downstairs to get another key and the cleaning person trying with their key, it was clear that it was something mechanically wrong with the lock. Yes, things happen but it then took the hotel almost 2 hours to get us into the room. That is just unacceptable! What if an elderly parent or child was in that room. On top of that, the next morning, housekeeping knocked at 5 minutes after 9 am and did not announce themselves. A few seconds after knocking, they just entered the room...thankfully we had the deadbolt on. I'm glad others had a good experience but this by far was the worst for me and my family. We were treated like we were at a motel vs a Marriott. As a rewards member, this was extremely disappointing!
Where to start!!!!! First I want to say a very special thank you to Cheryl Dawkins the Events specialist. What a wonderful Person!!! So helpful and sweet. I got married October 5, 2019 at Naninas in the park (20min drive) and used this hotel for our wedding block. What a pleasure rooms were cleaned, staff was sweet! We used the banquet room for an after party and breakfast the next day! Cheryl helped me with everything no matter how much I annoyed Her!! I highly Recommend them!!!
LOVED this hotel! We stayed here over a weekend trip to NYC and everything about it was fantastic. The free parking is a plus and the location is excellent! It's literally right next to a bus station. $8.50 and 25 minutes, you can get to Times Square - super convenient!
The room was clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in - so much so that I looked online at their bed/linens. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash is not that of normal hotels, they were Tea Tree by Paul Mitchell that left my hair feeling great and had a nice aroma!
I cannot rave enough about this hotel and will definitely be staying here again! The only thing I would mention (which wasn't an issue for me) is that the breakfast is somewhat blah. We ended up going into NYC to grab bagels so it didn't matter. Also, it's advertised as having a "Starbucks" in the lobby which isn't exactly true. They serve Starbucks products, but close at 11am.
If you're just looking for a place to crash after an all-day adventure in NYC, this is the place! Great price too!!
Great place to stay. Wonderful
Staff at front desk and starbucks in lobby a perk. Room very comfy
And clean.
One of the most affordable hotels in Meadowlands area for the room quality you get!
Wish the elevators were more efficient, though.
The hotel rooms are pretty nice and the gym had good equipment. You can hear outside noise from the rooms which is more a product of the location. Their cafe also only services breakfast as well which is rather a bummer.
Beds were not comfortable and very squeaky and loud. Complimentary shuttle service to train station to get in to New York City was nice. Complimentary hotel shuttle needs to be available later as it stops running at 11:00 p.m. and with taking the New Jersey Transit back we never made it back in time and had to Uber back to the hotel. Also this hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast.
Everything was clean and the staff was pleasant. There is no food room service which is unfortunate.

I really didn't want to have to write this review but since I didn't get anything from the staff other than a "sorry to hear that" response, here it goes. We checked into the hotel and was given a room on the second floor overlooking the ac/heating units. Not a big deal we were only there to sleep. However what they didn't tell us, and they were aware of was one of the units wasn't working properly and it was so loud that it woke us up throughout the night. With little quality sleep, we checked out in the morning. I informed the lady at the desk of our disappointment in the room and the situation. I thought maybe we could get some kind of discount or SOMETHING. He only reply was "Oh sorry, yeah we know that room has a problem and we usually don't put people in there". If she new that why could they no do something for us, to at least make us a little happy. I guess they just don't care about their guests returning. We won't be. We will stay from now on across the street

Hotel interior seems pretty new , though some wear start to show.
The bads:
1) Noise and light from corridor and door. The door bottom is half inch higher than the floor carpet, so the corridor noise and lights get through easily. I can hear clear conversation of people out there in the late night, as if they were talking right in our room!!!
2) The windows noise isolation is soooo poor that at 6am in the morning you can hear thunder of trucks and buses passing through!
3) There is a door linked to next door neighbor, who get a wake up call at 6:30am with phone ringing. I almost thought my phone was ringing in my room!!!
4) The wifi either did not work, or did not work well. I have 2 phones, one connected to Wifi successful in the night, but cut off and stuck at "obtaining IP address" next morning, while the other forever stuck at "obtaining IP address".
Talk to reception, she recommended me to call Marriott tech support, hinting it likely due to hotel modem has not restarted for a loooonnngggg time. But she did not bother to help call it herself.!
5) The night shift dumb guy manager put my family right at the doorstep of elevator. Due to mid night arrival tiredness, I did not bother to change room. Next morning Monday, I asked reception if hotel was full? The other reception lady quickly answer not at all, and they are not sure why the dumb guy manager did what he did.
6) Hotel air conditioning is not Central, which means it's kind of noisy because it's compressor on/off inside our room.
Before we arrive, we had a bad feeling this is WAY Over inflated Marriott Category 5. Unfortunately it is true. Even a 2 star motel in Ohio bests this Cat 5.
What a shame, Marriott.
Off Harmon meadows Blvd, next door to LA fitness signature location and Carrabbas. Convenient.. lot garage parking behind building. Busy. About 2.5 miles from secaucus junction NJ station and walking distance to bus stop to NY connection.
Really good hotel! My room was cleaned every day when I initially was staying for a week but ended up being three weeks. Breakfast and dinner is served downstairs in the lobby. Pool and a gym is also located in the hotel with vending machines. What more can you ask for.. When I was there, there was only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel. That really sucked. I've never had breakfast there but I've had dinner there a few times. The menu seems to be the same over and over but the food I had was good. If I forgot or just didn't have the time or really just being lazy to get food from somewhere else it was good to know that I could simply walk downstairs for a meal. There is food anywhere you go to enjoy, so if you choose to dine at the hotel alone then that's your choice.

the hotel was perfect for my needs and walking distance from the Expo. My only disappointment was the high cost of breakfast and the quality of the good.
Overrall the stay was good. The bistro breakfast food was disappointing. I got the sandwich with egg whites turkey and arugula. It was gross. The English muffin was wet and then got hard as it cooled. The egg white was cold in the center of the sandwhich. I couldn't finish it.
Lacks customer service , average rooms and pricey
Clean quiet rooms, good bar and restaurant
Very good hotel. Great food
Terrible Food also expensive. Go to the Hyatt it is much better.
Enjoyed stay at Courtyard by Marriott in Secacus. Room was clean and check-in process was very easy. Would definitely stay there again.
Nice clean hotel. Friendly customer service and the men who drove the shuttle were very nice.
Staff was super friendly and informative especially Michelle and Cheryl. The beds were comfortable. All in all a great experience with easy access to NYC. Thanks
It is at ideal place to stay if one want to visit New York. Commuter bus is right across the street which takes to time square in 20 mins and back to hotel. Bus runs after 15 minutes.
Nice Room comfortable beds, no Kitchen in room, but ask the front desk for a Microwave if you need one, great locations lots of Restaurants Buffalo Wild Winds Carrabbas's Italian Grill , Red Robin,Outback and Chipotle, and 20 minutes from NYC
This is a great hotel in a fantastic area--great (free!) parking and a multitude of dining options. Clean rooms, easy WiFi, and friendly front staff!
Clean rooms, pretty close to many shops. Good location!
