Joe is very knowledgable and passionate. He'll make sure you're getting the techniques and always has time to set aside for any further questions. If he finds a hole in your game, he'll make sure you're drilling properly.
There is a mixed variety of novice and experienced, but we all work the same techniques and we all roll together. I have trained in many Renzo-affiliated schools for years, and I really saw progress in my game during my time here.
Classes are nogi Monday and Wednesday, gi Friday, and open mat Saturday. We go over the same techniques for a month, so everyone can get it down properly. Most schools will give random instruction class to class, or at the least, week to week. We tend to roll 3-4 rounds after class.
Overall, a great experience, and I suggest you check it out, whether you're a novice or a vet.
