Crossfit Secaucus was my first experience with Crossfit... and it was all I could have imagined and more! The coaches are fantastic and do an excellent job of making sure you maintain proper form while also pushing yourself to get stronger. The gym is very judgment-free and everyone feels welcome when they step through the door. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in getting in better shape!
Simply THE BEST. I absolutely love this place, and all the coaches (Rob, Manuel, Dave, Chris, Debbie, and others) are all AMAZING specially Rob - he is an EXCELLENT coach! This place feels like home. It was my first Crossfit experience and now I am hooked forever.
So would I recommended this place to others - ABSOLUTELY YES!!
CrossFit at Secaucus is amazing! All the trainers are friendly and very motivating. They push you to achieve your goals and challenge yourself everytime. The facility is super clean and the music is great :)
I joined CrossFit Secaucus two months ago and have only had positive experiences so far. Coaches Rob and Manuel helped me get set up with the on boarding and I have been a regular since. The morning classes I usually go to are not at all crowded and thus helps me get enough time and individual attention from the coaches to correct my form if necessary. The pricing is very reasonable, floor space is adequate and the equipment always clean and available, there are also multiple sessions available in a day to accommodate work schedules.I also recently introduced my wife who suffers from a bad back pain to join the classes. She likes it so far and we look forward to working out together. I will update this review after I become regular for couple more months but for now, I recommend this for anyone looking forward to get a nice workout every other day. Special shout out to all the coaches and fellow members who make workouts fun and enjoyable.
I started my Crossfit journey at this gym in September of 2019, and it's one of the best decisions I've made. The coaches are fantastic and do their best to make sure you have proper form to avoid injuries. I am proud to say after consistently going to classes a few days a week, and following the nutrient advice from the coaches, I am down 22.1 lbs to date!
Great trainers! Really enjoy the environment! Everyone is like a member to this big family! Highly recommend!

I attend the tone+burn classes at CrossFit Secaucus and I am so happy with my experience here! I'm not sure if I expected it to be too hard for me to complete my (1st) 5wk course, or if I was going to be intimidated by not being where I wanted to be physically, but Coach Deb and Coach Rob have been amazing. Is it hard? YES! Does it challenge you physically? YES!!! Is it worth it when you put on your clothes, look in the mirror, put on a swimsuit... run up those stairs???? YES, YES, YES!! *Special shout out to the CrossFit members who are typically finishing up when I arrive. They are truly motivating and encouraging*! #5weekcoursePart2

Crossfit Secaucus is great! It has helped me achieve my goals while building a community that supports my journey! I am so happy that I found this gym!
Joining Crossfit Secaucus has definitely been a life changing experience for me. Coaches Rob, Manuel, Debi, David always have an eye on you to make sure your doing it right everyday. Best thing is the workouts are different every single day and every workout is scaled to match the abilities of everyone. All you have to do is show up and you would feel stronger, healthier every single day. Definitely a big change for me from the boring same gym workouts. And with great coaches like Rob around, you will never go wrong. Highly recommend this place.

My experience has been amazing thus far . I have amazed myself with the endless possibilities of the strength that I have built and had no idea I had. Crossfit Secaucus has become my addiction . All the coaches are phenomenal and knowledgeable in their craft .
Joined Cross-fit secaucus about 2 months ago i.e. Jan 2018, and since then all the effort has been worth it. Coach Mannuel and Rob are just amazing. They are too good. Mannuel and Rob have been detailed & demonstrative which has helped me in doing the exercises/WODs successfully. Perfect place for cross-fitting.The coaches make sure your form is correct so you can be efficient without injury and everyone else also motivates you to keep going just when you want to give up.
I've been going for about 4 months.Bored of going to the gym and doing the same routines, alone, uninspired and most likely with bad from. I started shopping around to different Crossfits because I knew it would be something I would like just needed the right place.
I've been to 2 other Crossfit gyms in Jersey City (trial classes) and this is the one I choose. I love this place! Wish I would have found this place sooner.
Pros:
-You won't be bored the workouts are mixed
-It's in a great area with ample parking. If you live in JC or Hobo, you know what a nightmare this can be.
-Gym is clean and organized
-Coach Rob is very experienced and has a knack of breaking things down simply. He is serious about you getting stronger and fitter.
-Coach Manuel is also very knowledgeable and helpful (fixing your form and giving great advice).
- All the members are all helpful and encouraging (no snobbery here).
Con:
-The music is well rounded but could use more gangster rap, classic rock and alternative rock.
Notes:
Prior to Crossfit I had very little experience working out and doing different lifts, movements etc. Over the last 4 month I've learned a lot and I keep learning as I go. I truly believe this program is best for anyone in whatever fitness level they are in. Anything can be scaled or modify non the fly.
One of the reasons I join was also to get myself to wake up early. This is one of my goals. Since joining, I get up a 4:55 am on the regs. Love the 5 am crew
If you think CrossFit is scary, but really want to try it, this is the place for you. The Fundamentals sessions were a great introduction to the different exercises and Rob does a great job explaining what to do and why to do it! I have several past injuries that sometimes limit my ability to do the different activities. They are quick to help me find a way to modify the planned exercise or provide me an alternative to ensure I can still get a good workout. I've never been to a gym where the coach greets you by name as soon as you walk in the door and seems genuinely happy to see you in class each and every time you show up. These guys are the best trainers I've ever worked with and I'm thrilled to be part of the CrossFit Secaucus family! You should join us!
I joined CF Secaucus in July 2017 and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I had zero fitness experience when I began this journey but the coaches helped me accomplish goals I never imagined. The coaches are extremely patient, caring and ensure you are always safe. The facility is very clean. The members are friendly and very welcoming. And a plus, there is parking!
Dropped in while I was in town for an excellent yoga class and open gym. What an amazing facility. Nice open space with all the equipment you need. You can tell that the owner cares a lot about his members and his gym. The equipment is in great condition, and the facility is clean and very well maintained. It was a pleasure to work out here.
I made one phone call and have been going to this CrossFit Gym religiously ever since. Eddie Maresca is a top of the line Instructor, who is dedicated, patient and most importantly highly educated in this field. He is ALWAYS accommodating to my personal schedule. I guarantee you will fall in love with this spot :)
I dropped in while in town for business. Eddie was quite welcoming, and the facility had everything I needed. (Ask for things like Crossover Symmetry, which are stowed away.) Highly recommended.
Anyone, at ANY level of fitness, can do Crossfit at Secaucus. Nobody judges you by how much weight you used or how many reps you did, as long as you tried your best.
The coaches make sure your form is correct so you can be efficient without injury and everyone else also motivates you to keep going just when you want to give up.
I leave each class feeling accomplished and amazing. (And it's Fun!! Gyms are boring).
Amazing amazing gym! Came in with no experience and was extremely skeptical. Coach Rob and Coach Eddie are amazing, they both took the time in explaining everything and made sure I was comfortable doing the workouts. You can tell they are both incredibly passionate! No matter what level you are they work with you and your skill set, also incredibly clean and organized gym itself.
