Not overly populated ever! Clean and well kept locker room and equipment
I have been a member for over a year, under new management. No complaints. No membership issues. Gym is always clean and staff are friendly. Highly recommend.
I love this gym! Joined 6 months ago with the knowledge that I was committing to a year so I haven't experienced the cancellation issues that a lot of the other reviewers wrote about. Those experiences do sound VERY frustrating. From my experience, the staff at the desk have always been friendly and helpful, the place is beautiful and CLEAN (always someone cleaning when I'm there) and there's so much equipment to keep you interested and there's classes if you get bored with the equipment. Such smart use of the space, which PF did not have. There has been several changes in management already which is a bit unsettling and I hope it's not a sign that the place is closing anytime soon. I especially want to give a big shout out to Cara, my personal trainer who is extremely knowledgeable and really dedicated to helping me achieve my goals. Cam is also awesome. He's a great class instructor, has great energy and greets me like family whenever I see him. For me the place is perfect, especially since it's within walking distance so I recommend it for people who know they can make at least the one year commitment.
100 star gym! Ask for manager Genesis, she showed me an excellent experience. The atmosphere alone supersedes other facilities. Clean, welcoming, and private (not crowded). This oasis of a gym is the ideal place to elevate your fitness expectations. I am so happy I took the step in visiting and becoming a member at Push. Push yourself to join the fitness family at this establishment! I am really looking forward to my fitness journey here and to try their trainers/classes!
Very clubby. Amazing instructors and a wide range of equipment. The price is well worth it if you make it to the classes.
Cycling room is a bit cramped but oh well.
They even have saunas!
HAVE HAD ISSUES ATTEMPTING TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT. Signed up with this Push fitness location over a year ago and agreed to a one year contract in which I was billed monthly. When informing them I was moving away from Staten Island prior to the contract being finished, I inquired how to get out of the contract early. Was given specific instructions (from various Push Fitness staff members, including Rafael, one of their managers) to provide proof I moved away. They asked for documents such as electricity/gas/internet bills for my new address. I provided that information and am still getting billed monthly. I've called several times to clarify the issue and keep getting dismissed over the phone by rude staff members. I've stopped their bill payments through my credit card company, but am now getting harassed by ABC financial.
In summary, although its a nice training facility, it's overpriced, has rude staff and numerous hidden fees. Not worth it. Do not recommend this gym.
BE CAREFUL WHEN SIGNING ON WITH THIS GYM. Signed on for 1 year initially under the impression that I would be able to cancel my membership after 8 months of being there since I would be moving away from Staten Island. The manager told me it would be no problem. In order to cancel, they require very specific proof (an electric bill or utility bill from a new address under YOUR name) which I was unable to provide as I live with my parents when I'm not residing in NY for medical school. An airbnb receipt under my name from my new residence in a different state was not sufficient proof. There was a total lack of understanding on their part and the best they could do was freeze my account for 3 months. Now I'm still being charged for another month even though I haven''t gone there for 4 months. Almost 90$ down the drain and there's a 200$ cancellation fee if you try to cancel before your year is up and can't provide the specific proof of moving that they ask for.

For the price I was paying I hoped it would have been more organized, legitimate and real. Instead he wrote on a loose leaf 3 meals with no reason or explanation. No portion size, etc. Very unprofessional and poor experience. Although, the gym is aesthetically beautiful the workers are poorly trained and the experience is not what it should've been for the monthly fee.

An upscale gym for a well worth it moderate price. It has a great vibe and friendly staff. The gym itself is kept tidy all day long. They offer a wide variety of classes for any style of gym goer.

This is a very nice gym, but users BEWARE, when you cancel because you have to move to a new place outside of Staten Island, make sure you keep your signed cancellation form, email correspondences and every verification method that you have cancelled your membership with this specific gym. I cancelled in February 2018, but they still continued to bill me for three months straight! I had to finally call my bank to put a fraudulent activity on my account against them because they kept billing me every month. They refunded me in March 2018 after that March bill ONLY after I had insistently called and emailed their management. They billed me again in May 2018 and that's when I had to put a BLOCKAGE against their company against my account.
In my opinion, this is VERY unprofessional, dishonest, unethical business practice. Because of this experience, I don't recommend going with this gym. If they cannot be respectable in their own financial affairs, how do you think they will really treat you once you've cancelled? I don't recommend this gym.

This gym is incredible! I love the classes here and how clean the facilities are.
They literally will not tell you how much the membership costs until you come in and try the gym for free. So I am supposed to go waste my time at a gym I may not be able to afford just to get a price. Also, the link for their website just leads to a YouTube video of Rihanna's "B*tch better have my money". How unprofessional! I will be looking elsewhere.
The managers and all other staff are really nice and the place is great. Rather pay more for a great service than less for a place where you wont feel comfortable. I love it here I canceled at LA.

This gym is very different from any other gym. Nice, fancy and they don't let it get dirty. Staff are really nice I did a tour with a girl I think her name is Marilyn and she was very helpful. My husband and I will be coming here. I love that they have a lot of classes and included with the membership is perfect.
Owners and some staff not knowledgeable at all in proper workouts and try to micro-manage the people who work out as if they where employees telling them what they can't and can't do at the gym ranging from simple workouts to carrying your own sweat towels or small gym bags. Never in my 20 years of working out have I seen a more poorly ran gym. I pray you dont experience what me and a handful of my friends here on staten island experienced. Only good thing is that they cancelled my gym membership with no fee but that took about two hours!!!! Customer service was terrible.
The gym is awesome. There isn't a drop of dust or a mark and anything is this gym! And it's kept like that throughout the day. All of the dumb bells and weights are always in order. It's a pleasure to go there everyday! The staff is nice and will accommodate you on your needs. When the third floor is built this will hands down be the best gym around. Lastly the place looks like the "W" hotel. Bathrooms and lights are done with a ton of taste. Definitely not your typical gym. Good job!
horrible place the management is horrible. They do not respect the customers or workers all they care about is money. they need to find better people to run the place. this place will probably get shut down real soon
Took a Zumba class with Janette! She is phenomenal. Great workout, awesome motivation, good vibe in the class, music was fun, and choreography was so professional. You really work up a sweat by the time you leave her class. If you can only take one Zumba class, I strongly recommend you go to Janette's!
Really nice and friendly place ,pricy but worth it ,all the workers are pretty cool and its such a clean atmosphere
Great location. Beautiful interior, with brand new equipment. Management is excellent, they keep it clean and the staff are helpful and provide assistance when needed. I don't know what's wrong with the John Doe reviewer. I'm thoroughly pleased with my experience. They opened up July 2017, and its located right near a few good cafes if you want to grab a drink or study afterwards, a lot of nice restaurants, and a nearby Duane Reede if you need to pick up smaller items. The changing rooms and showers are spotless, and cleaning staff ensure it stays that way.
