Every time I try to go to the YMCA, its closed..... what a joke towards people actually paying money...... false advertisement. This corporate is trying to steal people money. .Think about it, you spend 70 dollars a month trying to use the gym or whatever, but its closed due to the virus. Everyone is making excuses about the virus. WHAT A JOKE!
Went there with a guest pass and they have really good equipment.
This YMCA is garbage. I had 3 guest passes in total, I used 2 earlier in the month to play basketball and had one more so i went again ready to play basketball, I get there and they tell me that I cannot play basketball with the guest pass anymore.. Do NOT go here, there are better places. Since 2010 this YMCA has been getting worse every single year.
They change pool schedule literally every week without informing members. Sauna and steam room hardly ever work. People at the front desk usually don't know anything. I wish there was an alternative nearby. I would pay more for proper service.

Reasons why it's great:
1) Need an hour or two to workout and get you class on, than this is the place to do it.
This YMCY has a clean new play room for kids to play with toys. Have art activity and be supervised by two teachers.
2) Abundance of kid friendly programs.
Ballet, Swim with teacher class.(The swim with parents class was removed because kids were not trying since a lot of parents are overprotective. Myself being one. Not a Big deal. Their instrtors are more than capable to teach my kid.)
3) Holloween, Easter egg hunt, Christmas 2 hour drop off.
This place is nothing if not fun for the kids. Aspecially for Holliday shopping. Drop off the kids and you can run to the mall for gift shopping. Hurray!
4) Classes for adults are in abondance. Spin class, step class, yoga, Zumba to name a few.
5) Enough exercise room equipment to last you a life time. With fitness coaches available to help you with your work out.
In short, this is a great place to keep healthy and work out. Don't believe me, drop by their front desk and ask to look at the available programs and schedule of classes.
And don't complain that you have to wait outside while your kid is learning to swim. It is not an Olympic pool.

If you're a parent looking to watch your child swim, this isn't the place for you. They don't have allow the parents on the pool floor (although there is a large empty bench there) due to capacity issues - which is understandable- kind of.
But what's not cool is that all parents are forced to look through a single glass see through door, standard sized door. Take your pick of crouching, standing, rotating with other parents so that you can watch your kid swim, for 45 minutes.
I started, and my kid is having fun, and so we'll finish. But come the end of the period, he'll be signed up with another center where I can sit and watch my kid swim.

Seems as everybody is a racist to KOMROOK after reading all of his reviews. Ill be in soon enough for my membership. Hopefully, after 2 hip replacements, the pool is ready. Need that aquatherapy. Will update my review in mid May.

started going to this gym, mainly because of one class I liked during trial (2 out of 3 rooms for classes are way too small, so one can really only choose btw. ones in the main gym) come next time - it has been re-scheduled, next time still - someone else is teaching the class, and she is so bad most people in the class discuss it right there. I hear that happens so often, people are angry. the other class I was looking for got cancelled, too. also their plumbing went out and it took them ages to address it, all the while ppl scrambled to use basic fascilities with all the confusing signs and instructions. the staff there is nice (mostly), but the overall impression is of confusion, poor organization and less than thourough upkeep.
Been apart of this community since I was 5 and 15"4 years later I still find myself going here to get a good workout

great place if you are over 40 and just want to use cardio machines, weight room is tiny. Not the place to go if you want to lift
Nice friendly staff very clean only issue is a lot of the guest don't wipe down the machines after they use them I've noticed it to be mostly the men I workout at this gym 5 days a week, there are a few signs up around the gym but my suggestion is to put up more signs and have the staff give friendly reminders as they walk around the gym....
