Outstanding Jiu-Jitsu School! This school is very Law Enforcement friendly! I have known Prof Savarese for many years, he is passionate and cares and wants all his students to do well. Great kids program as well.. for all my Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or any other Law Enforcement Brothers you all need to come here and train, it could and it will save your Life one day. I really feel this training should be mandatory for all Law Enforcement, I think it just as important as your Firearms training!
Been at Savarese bjj for over 5 years and enjoyed every single minute of it, I have learn so much and still looking forward for more knowledge.
The professors and coaches are fantastic.
One of the best gyms I have been to! From the start, the staff was super friendly and very welcoming! The gym is very spacious and extremely clean. I was only in town for week so I was only about two catch two classes. Professor Sean and Coach Anthony were amazing! The quality of teaching is next level and it shows with all of the students. I cannot reccomend this gym enough! Just one class and you will see why. Next time I even remotely in the area I will be stopping in.
Best jiu Jitsu club in the area. What ever your goals are, weather for self defense, to get in shape, or to compete this is the place to train. The head of the gym Chris just really cares about the progress of the gym and really goes above and beyond to help every student with their goals.
Savarese Jiu jitsu is a great place to learn great people, and great instructors. I was attending classes for about seven months when I had a fire in my apartment I was living for 25 years. Lost everything ,but got out alive thank God. My sister in law set up a gofundme account. Chris Savarese put money in the account, and also some of the students. He also let me come to class for free for a month , and offered me his uniform since mine was burnt. Talk about family atmosphere these guys are the real deal. Anyone wanting to learn jui jitsu should definitely give Savarese jui jitsu a try you won't regret it .

I am glad to find this BJJ academy. All the members here work very hard to make themselves better and to help other to do the same. They have classes every day and very flexible schedules. Teachers are very dedicated to their students.

This jiu jitsu school is the best place to learn self defense. Unlike other schools, this place is not just about competition, but how to efficiently protect yourself out on the street. As a female in college, I can proudly say I feel safe walking around on campus, because I have the confidence to defend myself.

Savarese BJJ Academy is a wonderful place to learn and practice the art of Jiu Jitsu. I am a woman in my mid 20s. The self defense classes, and women's class, were some of the first I took at this school. The professors and teachers have been nothing but welcoming and helpful with even the most minute questions I may have. This is a place you come to learn. I highly recommend Savarese BJJ to anyone who is interested in this form of material arts!
This place was great even though I had a short time there a few years ago I am definitely going to come back professor sav is awesome and a great instructor and so is Shaun and everyone else they have there, I loved how everyone was welcoming and really helped me gain confidence. I regret leaving because I was learning so much and it was a great experience. Looking to to sign back up soon
This is an all around great academy with amazing instructors whose main goal is to help you. I highly recommend the school to anyone interested in martial arts, self defense, or any one trying to get in better shape or lose some weight!
I have been learning since November 2016, evolving and becoming a better person. All thanks to Savarese BJJ, Professor Sav and everyone are so welcoming and there is a solid support system. Whether it's to lose weight, gain confidence, curiosity, love for jiu jitsu or whatever it may be I have no doubt that you'll find it here. Since i have started I have a lot more confidence in myself and have gained a new family as well.
There are three pillars on which a Jiu Jitsu gym should be judged in my opinion. Instruction, atmosphere, and cleanliness, thankfully Savarese BJJ excels at all three.
Instruction: Professor Savarese is great at getting his point across. His details are advanced yet super easy to understand. I can guarantee that you will leave every class with the feeling that you just got better.
Atmosphere: Savarese BJJ gives you a feeling that they are truly invested in your progress. No matter how packed a class is they do a great job of giving you 1 on 1 attention. Great leadership has made this atmosphere an enjoyable one.
Cleanliness: See for yourself, pick any day of the week and walk in. Absolutely spotless.

I came from out of town and decided to give this place a try. It was an extremely friendly, clean, talented, and respectful environment. I came from a non affiliated school and they welcomed me in with open arms. Learned a lot of useful things and had great rolls. They are highly recommended. 5 stars for technique and another 5 stars for atmosphere.

Savarese BJJ offers super clean facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. Savarese BJJ creates a positive and comfortable environment for everyone to learn jiu-jitsu. A plus I really enjoy as a female is the women's program! Jiu-Jitsu classes for women only taught by women = A+
