The gym is good but the staff are not clear enough about the plans you sign to. I added my mother to use a guest pass and ended up being a total rip off. Oh and there is no refund either.
Great experience. Took a Zumba class for the first time. It was surprisingly fun. Instructor Marion was very energetic and fun. Might actually make her class my new regular thing.
The newest, the largest La Fitness on the island. Has cycling room, multipurpose room, pool, and separate work out room for 1:1 training.
Lots of equipment, large free wts area. Relatively cleaner compared to other La Fitness clubs. Nice area with ample parking and close to major highway.
I did a 3 month membership. Was not given copy of contract. I was told I had to meet with trainer. I call trainer and he tells me I cannot start until I meet with him and make an appointment. By the time I go it is after 3 days to cancel because the trainer insists I wait for him and I had a bad allergic reaction. They then would not let me cancel from my one time there and refund me. They wanted to give me an extra month when I explained I can't use the facility. Spoke to manager at 800# and at gym.
Covenient location and the best part is they have a daycare. Personal training is great too.
Great gym, nice equipment set up. It is newer than the other 2 on Staten Island. They generally don't have great deals. I love the fact that there is kids club, but it actually has a funny odor. It seemed like the carpet hadn't been cleaned in ages. But as side from that it is a good place.
The place seems clean enough and the machines are not usually out of order but if you use dumbbells... The staff does NOT re-organize the dumbbells at any point. The dumbbell situation in this gym is unacceptable given the number of employees I see at any given moment. Just once a day... is that too much to ask for?
Not the friendly place I'm used to like Planet Fitness. But the equipment is good.

A very large gym full of all brand new equipment, and lots of awesome exercise classes daily.
They also have a beautiful toddler club where they provide babysitting.
The prices are very reasonable and affordable.

Good offerings. Good size. Location is pretty new and still has that new feel. Staff is somewhat friendly. Good number of different machines. Decent number of duplicate machines helps with wait times during busy hours. Increased emphasis on body weight and free weight offerings, which seems to be LA's style of gym. TV'S on the cardio machines are a nice touch. The membership allows visits to other LA's which have more amenities like basketball and racquetball courts. Pools are included at many LA's including this one. Membership has some the most varied and luxurious amenities that I've seen, though the initial fees are painstakingly higher than most other clubs with decent offerings.
Manager Anthony was very helpful and encouraging to join the gym. Gym is a great facility, with great and new machines. The pool is also a great place to get some cardio and fitness in. I would recommend joining this gym to anyone who is looking to get into shape.

Great atmosphere for working out, friendly staff and a wide variety of equipment and machines. Locker room was clean as well as the bathroom. Strongly recommend this place.
Came in this LaFitness and the GM Anthony was great and very helpful in allowing me to use the facilities. Recommend this gym to anyone. All equipment in this gym is brand new and great

This location is super clean and equipped with new machines. I had a Fitness assessment with one of the trainers, Adam. He was helpful, nice and knowledgeable. He challenged me throughout the session and it made me feel like I had a good workout. I personally prefer this forest avenue location for the cleanliness and frinedly staff.
Love it!! This location was recommended by a friend so i tried it and love it. Its smaller and i would love later hours at all locations but other then that its great. Nice new machine, beautiful building, friendly staff, and clean. Had a training session with Adam he was funny and super nice and helped educate me threw my workout. I think this will be my new gym location from now on.
I agree with the other viewers. I signed up Back in July of 2016 and was told they were opening in September. And by me signing up early I was getting the best discount. I see the new members has received a better discount. What foolery this is. I called back every month and was told I can use the other Gym. Yes I did give it a try but it cost me Gas money and extra time (1hr) getting to and from. While I was still paying my monthly Fee. Like I stated to the corporate office I sign up because its closer to my home (5) min away. So I called the corporate office to see if they could accommodate me in some way. Of course not, So La fitness you all should have done a lot more for your clients, that signed up in July 2016. Bad business!!!
It was not so bad, but we cancelled our subscription since the pool was still not open three months after we signed up. The tall, white guy who talked to was barely helpful and was rude to us. That was the only nonpleasant experience with the staff. The bathroom was often dirty and the layout did not help in keeping the outside in order. Would not recommend.
Very clean, very Awesome Friendly staff. Classes.are excellent. Equipment latest and updated. Love every Bit of it!

First off, it took FOREVER to open and now that it has, I'm wondering what took so long?
The gym is smaller than most L.A. Fitness. The pool which was an issue when they were constructing the gym, isn't open and is small to boot. No basketball/volleyball court. No sauna either. An exercise room with all kinds of equipment that is only for personal training, yet it is hardly used. Keycard scanners not available for quick check in. So many issues.
I only go because it is much closer to my house than the other locations on the island and the machines are new and still work. Other than that, this location has been nothing but an unmitigated disaster.
