Honestly the best years of my life have been training with Master Kareem West. He exemplifies teaching you what you need in life over what you want. When I first went to him I was a cocky angry 17 year old punk and he made me into the man I am today. A US airman proudly serving my country using the same ideals he taught me back in 2011. A true old school master with constantly growing fighting styles. I owe everything to him and he's like a father to me.

By far the greatest Taekwondo Instructor not only does he connect with you through the training he also connects with you personally to give you more of an understanding. Is open and willing to travel the world for competitions if you are very dedicated. In my experience it was by far the best and will never forget my experience I've had with Instructor Kareem West. He will break things down for you step by step to make you the best fighter you can be, but in order to do that you must always listen to your coach no matter. It is a lesson I believe that must be taught to all kids at a young age.

Master West is very enthusiastic about the sport of taekwondo and will treat his students like family. Phoenix Martial Arts is a great place for any athlete who wants to work hard yet still have an amazing time. Some of my best memories have been training with Master West because he got to know me so well, and I know he will do the same for any student he has.

Absolutely great school. The instructor provides an amazing environment for the student to be in. He brings the intensity for the art while also being a very understanding, patient person. Prior to TKD I had Master Kareem West as a track coach. He made those years of my life extremely enjoyable and made me love the sport even more because of how he coached me. Master Kareem West has taught me about the sport while most importantly he taught me life lessons I can apply to my life on a daily basis. After track, I visited his school and took classes mutliple times and he has not changed one bit. I highly recommend checking out Phoenix Martial Arts if you are interested.

To be a great instructor. You must have a good foundation. I think your child would benefit from training with phoenix martial arts. The instructor is educated and you get a very good feeling about what he is doing for your child and the community

This school is run by the most passionate teacher you can ever find. Master West is very experienced and is very good with students of all age groups, from toddlers to adults. Definitely worth it!

My kids attended this school, and were always looking forward to the next class. Unfortunately the commute became a problem for us. However, Master West is one of the best instructor that I have ever met. He is so humble and dedicated to teaching and helping his kids. Good luck Master West!
