Good location for Airport but on the wrong side of the Highway. Staff very friendly but the food terrible
Clean room, quick room service, and the friendliest front desk personnel in the business.
One of the best Marriott's, I had stayed so far. Modern facilities, but breakfast is not the best. Need to order individual items which is not really convinient when you are in a rush
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. Pleasant experience.
Nice place to stay. Good rooms. Very close to Newark airport. So quite a nice place for transit, arrival or departure travellers. Hotel has a bistro but other than that you can order online for delivery. Shuttle to airport runs every 30 mins.
Very clean and comfortable. Egg white frittata was great for breakfast! Nice dining and lounging area, decent gym and pool. Easy shuttle to airport. Friendly staff.
Very nice stay. Interesting to get to. Entrance is off the interstate. The service and food was good there.
Nice and clean room. Airport shuttle is great and very convenient. Staff has been nothing but helpful and kind. Great for a short little stay if you are coming/going from the airport. Has a lack of easily accessible food options outside of the in-house restaurant. I didn't try the restaurant at all, but it always seemed busy when I went down during open hours.
On par with other Courtyard locations we've visited. The main entrance appears to be redesigned, while the rooms are pretty standard. It is driving distance from chain restaurants and the Jersey gardens outlet mall. The big selling point was you can pay to leave your car here and they offer a shuttle to the airport. All in all a pleasant experience
Good place to sleep prior to an early flight. Small bar area. Not too noisy at all for being across the street from the airport. Their shuttle runs every half hour. Parking for the time you are away. Secure and clean.

OK, it's convenient!
There was a shuttle to and from the airport. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Ice machine was on the other side of the pool and not convenient to get to. The pitiful in-room coffee maker is just that-pitiful. They need to provide AT LEAST coffee in the lobby instead of The Bistro which will sell you a cup of coffee for too much $$$. No other choices exist without transportation. Would have gotten four stars but for lack of coffee in the lobby.

One of the Best Marriott hotels in the Newark Airport System. From check-in to checkout the staff will provide second to none service. Rooms are modern, well appointed, excellent internet, there is a bar and restaurant on property and the shuttle service is available and prompt!

No USA Today. No breakfast included, even for Jr suite. Hard to roll your luggage on the carpet in the halls Comfortable, newly decorated room, but you pay as much for a glass of wine as you do for a meal ($12-14). I got to the hotel at 9:00 pm and left for the airport at 4:00 am and spent over $300. Not a good value. I think hotels should offer a late night/early morning rate so people don't feel like they are getting ripped off.

The hotel has been updated and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a bar/cafe downstairs which will cover most people's needs, but the location is situated on the road to the airport and there's nothing close by; no restaurants or bars or anything to walk to. So plan on eating here or ordering in. Otherwise, I don't really hear noise from planes and it's a comfortable place.
Located near the EWR airport, this Courtyard had all the standard amenities expected. The Bistro has limited food, sufficient for an overnight guest. Rooms are spacious, clean, new and comfortable. I will stay here again.
We had worst experience with the receptionist. She made my wife and an one year old infant wait for 2-3 hours in the lobby area to get her checked in, even after paying online through the card.(This was after 15 hours flight and 8 hours wait at the Newark airport.)Receptionist did not care enough to check my wife in quickly. When given the room, she was given the room for handicap people, which was not the room we booked. There is no Microwave in the room, how is the family supposed to warm the milk for infants. There is not complimentary breakfast for the price we paid. we paid $180 for a night. There is not even room service. When asked for room service for warm milk, she said, we have people to for hotel maintenance and not for your service. This was very rude. Very pathetic hotel!!! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Would not stay even if you give me a free night!
I stayed here four days for a business trip. It is a 3 star Marriott hotel. Rooms are clean and the staff has been very nice and professional. The Bistro has good food and the bar area is open with several places for both large and small groups. It is close to the airport but not anything else. There are a few restaurants that will shuttle you there and back for dinner.

Very good Hotel, with swimming pool and gym. near the airport, you can go shopping to Jersey Garden Mall, it is really near, you can use UBER.
There is a Shuttle to the airport every 30 min. Good Breakfast.
Niceeeeee hotel.....Good bedding.....Not far from airport with shuttle service to airport. Lobby bistro available. Room has refrig but no coffee maker or microwave. We here as a group...breakfast provided for additional cost. Good selection for most dietary types.
Customer service was really helpful. I had a mixup in reservations but it was my fault. They were so willing to help me locate which hotel I may have had a reservation at. They even let me stow my bags there while I had to go to another location. The security guard Rob is a true gem. The staff is excellent. Definitely will make sure to recommend.
I did not stay here but visited for a light meal in the restaurant. A very comfy place with a nice menu and a reasonably-priced bar. Overall a pleasant establishment.

Great customer service and conveniently situated right next to the airport. Staff was very helpful and their room was very nice. The bed was also very comfortable. Indoor pool and jacuzzi for the winter time.
I will be returning back to this place simply because of the location it wasn't the best hotel that I've stayed at or even in the area they don't have a smart TV the first time I stayed there I was treated like an imbecile. As opposed to a Marriott Reward member I was alerted to sign party waivers because it was my birthday weekend it was the worst time ever March 8th thru March 12th I lost my keys and had to pay $375 for a locksmith there's really no food or stores around the location you pretty much have to drive to it or take a taxi I felt like there was an inside job going on with the taxi service but I'll leave that alone it took for them to see that we weren't the people that I feel as though we were stigmatized to be loud ignorant partying we didn't even use the swimming pool because every time we looked in there there was enough people in there it was a lot of kids that particular weekend but after it was all said and done the management did redeem themselves and they actually felt bad because we were lovely people and they treated us like gold which they should have done from the moment we entered into the place but like I said I will return just based on its location closeness to the city and what I want to go into Newark New Jersey
I stayed in one of the recently redesigned rooms and enjoyed the decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the experience was on par with and perhaps a touch better than other Courtyards that I have stayed at. The only thing I did not like was where the restaurant cashier station was positioned so close to the check-in desks. Crowds tend to make the walkway there tricky during busy periods.
I stayed 1 night and the visit was pleasant.
However they charged me for 2 nights, over drafted my account and they are acting like everything is okay. Still waiting on them to fix it.
I checked out early to catch my morning flight and everything seemed fine. I didn't mess the room up or cause anything for then to charge me for an additional night.
The food at the hotel is over priced and not worth it, but too bad it's the only place to eat nearby without a car.
Beds are very comfortable, rooms are a good size. Food is ok. Minus one star because the AC/Heating ventilation system in the rooms is to loud and makes the air too dry.
Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Arrived late at night and was greeted promptly and professionally. The bar staff was quick with service.
Absolute worst service I have ever had. The man working behind the bar was rude as staff was unhelpful. I will not be staying here again and recommend no one else does either. Extremely disappointed.
The actual hotel is fine. My room was clean and there were no issues with it. Pretty much everything else needs attention though. The hotel is essentially on an island with two other hotels, surrounded by half a dozen lanes of asphalt. Unless you have a car you're pretty much stuck there. That leaves the "Bistro" as your only choice for food and drink. It's basically the lobby. I had dinner there and a couple of beers. I thought it was below average quality and overpriced. Breakfast was a little better but my server was disinterested. Never asked how my food was, if I needed anything, etc. After I finished, no one was around for a good 10 minutes. Having already given my name and room number, I just left. The shuttle van also needs some attention. As you can see in the attached photo, the sign on the van says "Courtyard Marriott 1&9". The hotel is "Courtyard Marriott Newark Liberty Airport" on the Marriott app and everywhere else. If they were trying to make the van hard to identify, they nailed it, especially since there are multiple Courtyard hotels in the area. The front desk is also difficult to contact on the phone. I called from my room 5 or 6 times before the phone was answered. The Courtyard in Elizabeth, also close to the airport, is a much better choice.
The rooms are very comfortable. There breakfast was delicious. The bar is only open till 10pm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel feels very safe. I would stay again
Hotel has easy pickup at EWR. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. The rooms are decent size and had recently been updated. Recommended if in the area.
Classic Courtyard experience. Very helpful staff and nicely presented rooms. Decent exercise room for getting rid of some extra calories.
The room is clean and very well appointed. The decor is well done and the room spacious. Three shuttles came for most other resorts before ours came, so be prepared for a wait. We will stay here again, though will opt for an Uber instead of the shuttle ;-)
Location is close to airport. Staff is fantastic. Restaurant staff superb. Rooms are ok. Location is industrial looking but that's true for all airport locations. I like this hotel because the staff is great and the good is very good.
