Joined SC Fitness a little over a year ago and I'll never join any other gym . I can literally say it changed my life. Since joining I've lost 20lbs, gotten stronger, changed my diet and I owe it all to the knowledgeable coaches. The workouts are fun and challenging for people of all fitness levels.

Workouts are great and coaches take time to explain the workout. There's a lot of encouragement and energy in the classes,

This is the best gym I have ever visited. The equipment are wonderful. Their lessons are good and helpful.

I absolutely love this place! At SC CrossFit 165 you are not just another gym member. You are somebody. The coaches and members are very supportive and friendly.

Scary (read: Intense) going in, but you'll feel amazing!

I felt exhausted just watching a class on my very first day. The workouts looked intense and terrifying.
Now 2 months into my membership and I still feel a bit 'scared' but show up anyway. Everyone is so positive, motivating and encouraging - students and coaches alike.
No matter your level you will be pushed to the edge of your comfort zone. But you'll get through it, and you'll come out feeling sore and amazing, too tired to continue but excited to jump into your next class.

No matter your level you will be pushed to the edge of your comfort zone. But you'll get through it, and you'll come out feeling sore and amazing, too tired to continue but excited to jump into your next class.

A.) Next to never do I ever write reviews.
B.) This just feels completely necessary - given the experience I've had with them.

I've been going to SC CrossFit 165 since the end of October, and have been more than satisfied with my experience. From the beginning learning stages (Which for me .. never seem to end, LOL) to a now somewhat "okay" CrossFitter, these 5 stars are well deserved! The team pays close attention to each of its members, making sure that the movements are being executed safely. They continuously push you to the limit, motivationally of course, and constantly inspire their members to do & achieve more! Teaching and educating throughout the way. Also, the community aspect of this "Box" is another reason to love SC CrossFit 165, as there is nothing that bonds people together more than doing something that is physically intense and difficult!

I recommend this box to all, and will continue to boast about it!

Thank you Charlie and to the team, you guys seriously ROCK!

I used to go to the gym alot, but only could get so far with my fitness level. I decided to look for the next best thing where I could get fitter, stronger, faster, and loose a bit of weight if I could. When i joined up with Scarborough Crossfit, I found exactly what I was looking for. In just 2 months I lost almost 5 kg, and got much stronger then I could have by going to the gym and following my old routine.
When you join crossfit, you dont just join some workout class, you join a team who are there for the same reasons you are, get fit and stay fit. Its the same people everyday who you get to know over time, and its those people who help you push harder. Not to mention the instructors who are there supporting you in your goals, teaching you the right techniques and exerises.
Personally, when I first came over I didnt think it would be for me as I have a severe knee injury and didnt think I could keep up. I met Pete who runs and teaches Scarborough crossfit and told him about my problem. He told me what I could do to build up my knee and helped me throughout the time I was there with my progress. I have to say I am grad I stuck at it as not only my fitness level is up, my knee feels much better.
So, if you are looking to better yourself physically then I strongly suggest you give it go! You would be surprised of what you can achieve!!

The best part of Cross fit is Team work. Coaches shuffle workout plan each day that rejuvenate the mind and nerves. After 12 sessions I feel more energetic than before. At Cross fit one feel connected and motivated to do the best. I feel happy to be part of it and thankful to coaches for their dedication.. :)
