I used to go to the gym alot, but only could get so far with my fitness level. I decided to look for the next best thing where I could get fitter, stronger, faster, and loose a bit of weight if I could. When i joined up with Scarborough Crossfit, I found exactly what I was looking for. In just 2 months I lost almost 5 kg, and got much stronger then I could have by going to the gym and following my old routine.
When you join crossfit, you dont just join some workout class, you join a team who are there for the same reasons you are, get fit and stay fit. Its the same people everyday who you get to know over time, and its those people who help you push harder. Not to mention the instructors who are there supporting you in your goals, teaching you the right techniques and exerises.
Personally, when I first came over I didnt think it would be for me as I have a severe knee injury and didnt think I could keep up. I met Pete who runs and teaches Scarborough crossfit and told him about my problem. He told me what I could do to build up my knee and helped me throughout the time I was there with my progress. I have to say I am grad I stuck at it as not only my fitness level is up, my knee feels much better.
So, if you are looking to better yourself physically then I strongly suggest you give it go! You would be surprised of what you can achieve!!
