Great local gym with friendly employees. All the equipment you need. Great classes available throughout the week!

It's a good gym. Has your basic gym equipment. The prices are pretty good. $10 a month is not to bad for a basic gym. And what I like most is that almost everybody here tends to mind their own business

Great spot. Left my PF tag in Florida. Hicksville helped me solve the issue so I can workout while here. Nice folks and looking to help.

Not enough machines for the amount of people in there and the guy at the front desk never looked up from his cell phone. I wanted to ask a question but he clearly couldn't be bothered. Later on, there were more people behind the counter and they were much friendlier. Also the gym and locker room were very clean.

This place is unique and I love it. It's like your own private gym. Not crowded at all.

Can't ask for more for the price I paid for a gym. I found the men's locker room need to be clean more often but again, it is not an expensive gym to begin with and I am happy with the equipments that need.

I never write reviews, but seeing a few people nitpicking and complaining about small things I had to write one. I have never felt more comfortable in any gym than here. the staff is friendly and courteous. gym is bright and lively. no judgement zone I love the idea. enjoy every visit.

I wanted to join, but they need a checking account to join. I didn't want to give them that info. But it was very clean and nice.

The circuit training is never monitored by the staff. People just sit on the circuit machines texting and doing sets. If you ask to work through they refuse. A woman actually threatened to attack me when I asked to work through. I told the staff but they did nothing about it. The woman and her personal trainer said "nobody does that here". Signs all over the circuit area say that it is monitored but it isn't. The staff only cares about signing up new members, they don't monitor any other part of the gym. If you ask the staff help clear the circuit area they won't help. I was told point blank that they have to stay at the desk to show new members around.
That tells you all you need to know. It's about the money, nothing else.
If however, you still want to pay to join this madhouse, you will find a fair selection of equipment with about 20 treadmills. There is one cable crossover station and 2 smith machines that almost always have a line. The equipment is usually in good condition and if something breaks its usually repaired within the week. The gym itself is clean and the locker room ( I only saw the female side LOL) is about a 6-10 for cleanliness.

This planet fitness is similar to most planet fitnesses in the area. There is a small parking lot shared by all of the stores in the shopping center so parking can sometimes be hard to find. When inside the gym, it's all on one floor which makes finding the equipment you want to use much easier. It's a pretty crowded gym during peak hours, which is why I generally go at odd times. The selection of equipment has all that you would expect from a basic gym but at a cheaper price. Also, there are some extra gimmicky things, like water massage beds, tanning booths, massage chairs, and some "body enhancement" thing that vibrates the floor. This place is basically a cookie cutter planet fitness, so if you have a membership, you won't be disappointed.

Its like other gym centers. Would like to point out the negative's of this place.
Very less parking spots, if you are visiting at time around 6-8 PM, it is very tough to find space for parking and similarly you might have to wait for a vacant treadmill.
There is no weighing machine, so you cannot keep track of your weight loss until you have one at your home.
Apart from the above mentioned points, this is a good place to workout. They have got the most recent instruments for body workout and have most updated treadmills.

Parking in this area is really the only con. This gym has loads of equipment, and is more clean than my previous gym.

Love the people who work here. And the vibe of clientele is great too, motivating, enthusiastic about working out, and mostly youngish (20s and 30s), though if you come 8-10 you do get mostly retirees, if that's a mojo killer for you (or if it's right up your alley!)

If you need to do Cardio. This is your place. Don't go in the morning or afternoons it's a nightmare.

Great place to go workout. Often packed during week days, daytime hours. Nights and early mornings are often a lil more empty

Spacious, judgment free zone! Great environment to get a good workout in and has a lot of machines. The cardio area is great too since there's always open treadmills, stair masters, bikes etc!

I think I had this place st three stars, but am downgrading to two. The reasoning may only affect me and a few other enthusiasts, but here's why I downgraded to an unsightly two stars:

They just re-did this place, got new machines, and changed the layout. Whether or not this new look will "work" for them is yet to be seen. The parking solution certainly did not help matters. Annnnnyway, here is what I don't understand: before their reconfiguration there were TWO (2) ab trestle machines. Now, inexplicably, after the changes, there is only one. Why? This I simply do not understand. And to make matters worse, you moved the location of the ab trestle to the front of treadmills and ellipticals. So now I not
Only have to wait longer to sit on the damn
Machine, but I now have an audience. You people are morons. That's all.

Best value for me as a long-term gym-goer. For me, most importance are the shower and flexible hours. I'm fine without classes nor towel service nor steam room, etc.In December, they usually offer 1 year prepaid membership contract with good discount. That is when i usually renew.
