Hires personal trainers that have zero training/schooling. I know of at least one that has zero schooling of any kind under their belt, they just look nice and workout a lot. Good way to get a client injured.

The only thing ROYAL about this place is its name. For someone that has over 16 years in the fitness industry and has been to their fair share of gyms, I can honestly say this has to be the worst.
For starters the equipment is ancient and completely non-functional, the dumbbells resemble what I had in my basement as a teenager, the cardio needs to be better maintained and the cable attachments need to be replaced.
Secondly, I arrived shortly before 4AM and I get that it is not the most desirable shift to work and/or staff but I could not find a staff member for the life of me. God forbid there was an emergency i.e. a member having a heart attack or stroke, a member injuring themselves, etc..
And last, but certainly not least, the cleanliness of the facility was downright disgusting. As a fitness center, even before having great customer service your cleanliness should be priority number one because without that there won't be any members for you to service. To the untrained eye it may appear to be "clean", but for someone with as much fitness experience as I have I would not allow this facility to operate in the condition that it is in.

The gym is average at best. Their policy regarding cancellation is the absolute worst and its a ripoff. I sent them a certified letter on Dec 1st which they received on Dec 8th but I was still charged for the month of January. When I asked why they charged me for January, they said it takes 30 days to cancel the membership. Interesting that it only takes 5 minutes for them to sign you up and take your money !

I will not be renewing my contract 1st year at this gym and last year. The second star is for the sauna one good thing... what happened royal fitness?

This place is awesome. The people that run this gym are really friendly. Clean workout area modern equipment and the price is really reasonable considering they're open 24 hours. Mario is my trainer and I'm pleased with his approach to my health goals. I highly recommend A+
