Great place for learning how to exercise and hone your body, if you make 50k+ a year. It's the best Karate Mill in Buffalo, but still a "Karate Mill." They charge you large amounts of money for small goods or services every step of the way; just like every other school. The staff all instruct you a bit different, which can be very helpful and sometimes confusing. And so progress toward honing a single technique can be very slow. Master Gorino holds his own local tournament, where he rakes it in. He encouraged me to go, and even gave me a discounted price. Later on for the next one, he announced to the class and newcomers that the first one is always free. Mine wasn't. Shady business were they act like they're supporting you. You may think the few thousand dollars in tuition is doable, but it quickly climbs by hundreds of dollars to continue - with mandatory participation in purchases. Master Gorino is an excellent role model; one who talks to you equally and wisely. He teaches valuable and easy to digest life lessons as you go. The environment is great, and the staff members are very friendly. Very good environment for children to learn discipline and start the martial arts at a young age. I've learned enough of basics and intermediate to take that knowledge to Youtube to further my knowledge. That may sound dumb, but if you study for enough years and hone your body, then it can certainly be done effectively. I'm done with the abusive relationships that "Karate Mills" offer.
If you're ready to jumpstart your life, come to this school! All of the qualities that we need to succeed in life can be found here. Sometimes you might think that being disciplined, focused or brave are attributes that aren't within our reach. This school will show you that that isn't the case. Whatever you want, it's attainable. I have found Master Gorino's a great place to train and there are multiple well educated instructors to learn from. My family looks forward to every class we go to as we are provided with a multitude of positives including self discipline, attitude changes, a great workout, contributions to different organizations such as western ny heroes, and overall producing productive members of society.
I have been going to Master Gorino's Tae Kwon-Do for almost 3 years. It has truly transformed me; physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is a lot of hard work and a investment both in time and money, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. You earn everything and nothing is given to you. They have a true support system and we are like a family who is always there for one another. No matter how young or old you are, you will thrive in this school and have fun doing it!
So very grateful I walked through your doors almost 5 years ago this year. It has been an amazing journey for my 11 year old son. Master Gorino's TKD School is absolutely the best place for my kids. The students and staff are so kind and very respectful. Joining Master Gorinos has truly been an amazing Tae Kwon-Do and life experience for me. Master Gorino takes time to personally train and develop every student in class. The school provides a family and fun atmosphere while giving me the tools to defend myself and become a healthier, happier person through enhanced discipline and confidence in my everyday life. The instructors are dedicated and motivated to engage the students to be their best with Master Gorinos guidance and experience!
What can I say. Taking my daughter to Master Gorino's was one of the best decisions I've ever made. My daughter has ADHD and ODD and while I always knew that martial arts was going to help, it took awhile to convince her of that. Even though we've only been a part of the family for 2ish weeks, I can already notice a difference. It's really subtle right now and I know the changes will get more and more noticeable as time goes on, but it's still there. They are extremely patient with her, even on bad days. Master Gorino and the other instructors try everything to engage her and build up her confidence with positive reinforcement, all while teaching her respect. I know that the right decision was made bringing her to Master Gorino's because of his massive amount of experience, both with children, and with Tae Kwon Do. Thank you!!

I only wish that we had started training sooner. We get to work with a wide range of ages -- from 3 to 80+ years -- and abilities.
