I was there on Tuesday July 2nd for my first time. I usually go to the Schenectady Y which is close to my home. Unfortunately sometime during my workout somebody took a pair of bolt cutters to my padlock and accessed the locker. Good thing I didn't leave my wallet or phone in there. I didn't inform anybody at the time. I think I was in shock. So I suggest you are careful visiting this facility. Otherwise the pool and the walking track are great. However I think I will stick with the Schenectady YMCA.

Awesome place. My daughter was there for taekwondo tournament.
Great/up-to-date ymca, with a pool, a main gym, a track, an exercising room, a daycare and even a library branch. Relatively quiet in evening close at 9pm.
Love my water aerobics class at Albany YMCA. Staff are warm, welcoming, skilled. Facility is clean, well maintained. Members are friendly.
Terrible Experience and a horrendous place to go overall. Dealt with a non friendly staff who didn't help me with my needs.
The daycare is unprofessional and the staff are not equipped in dealing with children. Different directors every 3months or so. Literally
