My last birthday trip to Northern NJ lead to staying in this very hotel. First off, the good. The employees were nice, the rooms were clean, and almost everything was well maintained. The bad, certain areas of the property (i.e. the elevators) SCREAM 1998, when the property was built, the only way to access the hotel from US-46 West is to use one of New Jersey's many jughandles at the intersection of US-46 at Lackawanna Avenue and no USB ports in the rooms...

Beautiful rooms, a bit pricey for the evening, I wish that I could get a bit of a discount. We could go more often. Nice pool. We take the kids there for the pool.

Staff was very friendly. However, the hotel is not very hospitable - no bottled water, nor slippers. Breakfast is not complementary. So, we had it at the Starbucks downstairs. The sandwiches were amazing, fruits were fresh. However, the hot cocoa was lacking some flavors.

The people here are thieves. They booked me for an $89 room. They charged me $130 for incidentals. There are no possible incidentals in the room. No mini bar. No anything. This is a total scam. And, not only incidentals, but they rounded my tax up by $28!!! A bunch of crooks. And, when the corporation found out, they ordered me around to the thieves that robbed me. I am waiting for the cops...

Nice rooms with some opening up onto the outside, some with jacuzzi's. Nice lounge area, small pool, the hotel was definitely not a dive. I don't know the prices.

A very delightful place. I was there for a wedding and was treated so wonderfully. Such a beautiful experience for being from out of state.

We had a terrible experience at this property and were very disappointed. We are brand-loyal Marriott and think this a one off issue but we would not recommend this property and will not stay there again. Interior was rundown and the room type we reserved was not available. (we are part of the Rewards program, only Silver, but still...) No explanations nor apologies were offered and we were too tired to push back. The toilet in the room was broken and the whole room had a musty smell. If the property is not on the schedule to be renovated within the next 6-12 months it would be better to close it than risk eroding the Marriott brand through this location.

Updated rooms are nice. Bistro in the lobby is great for a drink or quick bite. Stores/restaurants nearby to shop or eat. Friendly staff are always helpful

The room was really nice! The only complaint I have is that the room was pretty hot when we walked in. Usually you'd expect rooms to have cooler temperatures but it was remedied by adjusting the thermostat.

Older Courtyard hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but rooms are a little worn. Bathroom is clean but toilet needed a good scrubbing. Pool was lukewarm, whirlpool not warm enough. Good location.

The rooms are in a state of disrepair. The staff is not very friendly or helpful. Very poor TV programming reminds me of staying in a Motel 6. Definitely would not stay there again or recommend this place to anyone else.

Great visit. Clean rooms and nice facility. Wonderful staff. Rates a little high for what you get. Breakfast separately purchased and not included in rate.

Always consistent. Marriott properties tend to be clean, modern and have a flare to them. This one is close to the train station (still a drive) and located on a main road so restaurants are close by (again drive). The inside is modern and pretty as you would expect. Never really go wrong with Marriott. Go for it!!!

Rooms were nice, clean. The bistro sucks. They can't get orders out, and have no ability to quote times that mean anything. Would not stay here again.

My husband and I stayed there this Saturday to Sunday. We requested a room with a jacuzzi. The room looked nice and clean. When we attempted to use the jacuzzi, it was absolutely filthy. The only thing they offered us was a complimentary breakfast which according to their website was already complimentary. The man at the bistro cooking was very rude and not hospitable. The food gave my husband food poisoning and was in the bathroom all night. The bed was horrible, every move you made the bed creaked. It was a awful experience. Will never recommend anyone to stay here.

Clean establishment with comfortable bed and pillows. There's complementary tea and a nice Cafe that serves food and Starbucks. Plus there's a small pool for kids.

Had a wonderful experience, the hotel was very nice and clean. Only issue I had was one of the lamps in the room did not work there was no bulb in it and we tried switching it with another bulb but that didn't work either. I didn't complain to the front desk it was the least of my worries other than that I enjoyed my stay. I would stay again.

Nice meeting room; quite convenient to food. had coffee in the room, but no tea or juice for a breakfast meeting, but it was our first meeting there and I'm sure they'll fix that. Very accommodating staff ... a pleasure.

This hotel located just off the freeway has comfortable and clean rooms. A movable desk, a comfy sofa do not crowd the room but makes it easy to accomplish work. The bistro downstairs has a limited menu, but the items are tried and true hearty dishes. A little bit on the high price end, but when staying at the Marriott what do you expect for great quality. This locations sports a small pool, a hot tub, a small exercise room and other amenities. Overall, this hotel gives a great impression and lives up to the expectation of being a quality hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable, the room was beautiful and the staff were helpful and kind. Stayed here for a wedding nearby and I would do it again.

Nice hotel. Would stay here again. No complaints. Easy check-in, good customer service. They restaurant is fairly plain, but in a pinch it gets the job done

The room looked great, but the bathroom was definitely older. Although it was clean, the bathroom didn't feel luxurious like the rest of the hotel. The hotel staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and had a comfortable couch for watching TV. My biggest complaint would be that the elevator was very slow even though we only went up 1 floor.

Excellent customer service by the hotel staff; most notable is Nathan at the front desk. We stayed here for 2 nights and was very impressed. The room was spacious and had been updated. Really enjoyed the balcony and the view into the courtyard. The lounge was super comfortable with books to peruse. My friend enjoyed her Starbucks Caramel Macchiato that they served. Definitely coming back again.
