My go to gym. Gets Busy during the Afternoon-Evening time But Late Night Is Awesome.

Good place to work out. Just wish they would expand and get some punching bags and speed bags rather just ab machine.

The gym itself is out of the way, I would never have run into on my own, Although I work in the same town. Parking is incredibly difficult to find (depending on the time that you go). Very clean atmosphere, friendly staff and most of the patrons seem to mind their business and allow you to work out in peace!

I went to the East Orange location for a couple of years before switching to Blink. The main problem was the bathrooms were not always clean and the stairmasters are my favs for intense cardio, 3 out of the 6 they have, were broken and it would take weeks before they repaired them. Overall, it's not the worst, it's affordable and convenient and they're open 24/7

Just got done doing a 5 mile bike to this planet fitness and some lightskined, blonde lady said I need to have my id or pf card... Unfortunately I didn't have either... I always sign in with my phone number and then all of a sudden you change up rules... What an inconvience it maybe only 20 a month but I still pay to go to this gym... Acting like there not any other way to sign people in.

The place has everything from weight loss to body strengthening equipment. They even got massage parlours.. great place and it's not to pricey to sign up with them.. the black card comes with all packages.

They need to pay more attention to cleanliness on the machines at pick hours. Last time I was there around 6pm I had to leave my workout just after 30 mins of arriving there. I almost threw up on one of the machines because of the nasty smell coming put out of it and all the sweat on the machine.

A lot of options with machines. Just have to stay on top of management to service machines and get them fixed if "out of order". The staff is waaaayyy to strict! This is a gym PLANET FITNESS EAST ORANGE, not a library!

Very unprofessional I called & spoke to 2 people tellin them both I have a savings account & they said come in I go & then fill out the info on the tablet just to stand around 30mins speaking to 3 people in total 1 left me at the tablet & neva returned again spoke to young dude behind the counter WASTE OF TIME with him then spoke 2 a female after I explained to her I called earlier & spoke to the manager she said come in & somebody will assist you in gettin your BLACK CARD never sayin nothin bout a checkin account till I spoke to the female there all this could've been avoided if they were payin attention in the beginning when I SAID I HAVE A SAVINGS ACCOUNT

Planet fitness is great to come at around 1am. Feels like you have the gym to yourself. It is clean , bathroom was spotless. I had a peaceful work out. Great to see all equipment worked properly.

No mirrors in bathroom so u can dress yourself properly...they say because its a no judgement zone YET ALL THE WEIGHT LIFTERS GET TO STARE AT THEMSELVES IN A MIRROR THAT SPANS THE LENGTH OF THE BUILDING????? SEXIST...Y PUT SHOWERS IF I CANT GET DRESSED PROPERLY???

It also has a couple of other separate rooms one for massage one aerobics they also have a juice bar a separate and private lift area as well as the bathrooms are maintained and clean to include showers

I wish that I could give zero stars! These people never pick up the phone for nothing! I've literally been calling them for a whole week so that I can speak with someone in regards to my account. When I go in the evening im told to call during the day 9-5 when the manager Dreamy is there. I work so I'm only available after 6pm and she's not there. But for the life of me, they won't pick up the phones so that I can have my issue resolved and this is annoying!

Great place to workout off hours only because this gym really gets extremely busy & convenient location with public transportation as well. I could also walk up the street to this location from my apartment. The staff is cool depending on who's working. They also do their best to keeping the gym floor, restrooms, lockers rooms & shower area cleaned for a heavy crowd of people.

Writing this review few weeks after joining. The fee is very reasonable even for the premium membership and this is great place for just the workout. It doesn't have basketball court or swimming pool but just the workout machines, weights and a clean and huge space for the workout. There are ample machines here so there is usually no wait except for the weights section where you may have to wait for few minutes in busy hours. This place has 30 minute full body workout area and 12 minutes abs workout area. The restrooms and locker area are clean and neatly maintained and there is enough parking at the premise. There is free guest allowance, massage chair, hydro massage, tanning and few other perks for premium members. Higly recommend this place.

I can in with the full intention of signing up for a membership, I had researched online and I can prepared with my card and a voided check. The staff at the front desk over the course of about 10 minutes convinced me not to get a membership. The made it clear that signing me up was not a priority, the also had me standing next to a very upset girl who just wanted to cancel her membership and they actively weren't helping her as well. By the time they finally got around to helping me again as it was very stop and start and just... Awkward... Like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. They informed me they were also out of their black cards, this was what I came in to sign up for and this couldn't have been addressed earlier? I just grabbed my things and left with out signing up, I intended to go to a different Planet Fitness but I've actually decided a different gym may be a better choice.

Very solid gym. Some of the people that work there are really, really friendly and helpful. There is always a ton of machines, more depending on what time you go.

It's clean most of the time. Participants are the ones that don't read and follow the signs. Staff for the most part a friendly, even the ones I don't know personally. Great location. Plenty parking.

Great gym, nice staff, the only thing is that they have a/c and fan on... sweat and cold does not mix well, but other than that it's a great gym for the price.

Love that they are open 24 hrs, locker rooms always clean. less stars because they do not offer Zumba classes and they don't always ring the buzzer for guys lifting the weights and showing off
