opened 24/7 you have no excuse, you have to apply yourself, set a little time a side at a time, and you'll be working out a half or maybe even an hour a day, as it becomes a healthy feel good daily routine, you'll notice how much time you really have!

This is my gym. Great group of people, and the entire staff / especially the early morning crew is very courteous, and helpful. Join you won't be disappointed

I like the equipment. The place is clean and everything is sterilized after use. The staff is usually open and friendly. No one seems to be there for anything else but a good workout. Would have given 5 stars but equipment maintenance doesn't seem a top priority. 1 machine has been down for over a month.

Extensive set of equipment! Very clean atmosphere. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. Love this gym!

Good staff. Not really a "bodybuiding gym", but has enough of the essentials to lift a decent amount of weight and get a good workout. Also, you can't beat the price. The massage area and half off drinks for black card members is also a plus. That "Bang" energy drink is one of the most effective/best tasting pre-workouts I've tried, and it's only $2 and change for black card members.

Gym staff harass customers while working at stations. There is one of them by my side every time I go. Always around you while you are doing your training. I lost my bottle of water twice. I don't get it. A total gymtimidation. Contrary to the slogan they have posted everywhere. Most of working machine are out of service or in very bad shape.
Not nice.!!

I went there yesterday, 3/28/18, and several machines were not working. They needed to be fixed or an Out Of Order sign on them. I spent 20 minutes trying to find a working treadmill. I reported it to an employee, Anna, who was totally rude. She literally walked away as I was talking to her. She never acknowledge me or the machine issues. Also, not all of the monitors were working. I issued a complaint letter to corporate via email and have received no response as of yet.

Good gym, they finally added full length mirror to the women's locker room. Price can not be beat. Friendly staff.

I'm loving this location. I've been to several PF's in NYC and none have been this nice! Staff is super professional, space is very open and offers a lot of workout areas.

The one is Elizabeth is perfect. It has plenty of place to park your car. The amenities are great.

Worst Experience Ever!

I was actually very interested in becoming a member after my son being enrolled for 2 years. I came in excited to join, when I was shocked by the poor customer service. I was with my 8 year old daughter and we needed to use the bathroom really badly. As soon as I was done using the bathroom, I was going to enlist myself as a member. However, when I asked "Kim" for permission, she blatantly told me I couldn't if I didn't have the little card. Which is shocking because my son tends to forget his card at home and they always give him an alternate way of signing in (I pay for my son's membership). To my surprise, she didn't offer any other options but for me and my daughter to have to drive all the way back home to get the card and only THEN we could use the restroom. Upon my arrival, "Kim" acted as if she didn't even know who I was as I gave her the card, asking if that was good enough for her. At this point, my need to use the restroom went away as I was very upset with the customer service. Instead of gaining a new member, I cancelled my son's membership, and went straight to joining another fitness gym.

The people that work there are great!! Specially Kim she's great, her personality is awesome!! They're very attentive. People that have their cars broken into need to stop leaving things visible. Why give bad reviews on the place when bad things happen to their pov's. The place is always clean and if the members don't clean after using the machines like they're suppose to the staff always do. GREAT PLACE!!

The whole planer fitness entity on its own sucks... I cancelled my gym membership 2 years ago and went with my husband to work out at 11PM.. the girl at the front desk is going to tell me that I have a balance so I can't use the gym as a guest when I paid to close the membership. It's not my first time going as a guest and no one told me I had a balance... Planet fitness is a rip off

I signed up online 3 days ago for a membership. I went in today at the Elizabeth, NJ location to get my card and also to work out. The lady at the front desk told me I have two accounts that are active. She said I will have to cancel the newer membership and pay off the balance of the old one. I ask her if she's going to give me a refund for the new membership especially since I just signed up three days ago. She said NO and she will give credit the new membership to the old membership. I told her No I don't want that. I ask her why can't she just cancel the old one and why did you alllowed me to open up an another account if had a balance from an old account. This is defintely not Customer Service nor good busines. I will be reporting this to the BBB and everyone I can and also want my full refund.

They need more machines, as in peak times it gets impossible to workout properly. Also a lot of people in rush hours are very *undesirable* as they come from the lesser desirable parts of the neighborhood. Other than that, if you go at a good hour, this is by far the best place to get results. I think some people are just ignorant, especially in Elizabeth. Believe me they make the experience just horrible. Oh well, time to wake up at 4am to avoid the trash!

Great location and always open parking. Gym is very busy during peak hours especially in the evenings. Place is clean and staff is great.
