This week alone couldn't work out because they never open on time. The girl in the morning time came one time at 5.25 today 2/7 its 5.30 and shes not here yet.. DONT USE THIS GYM
For service / gym condition I think 20 dollars a moth is too much , the guy who clean does his best to keep clean everything but is not enough . Holes and unfinished walls , sauna need deep clean and wood change
I been going to this gym for four years and I've never seen this gym in such a bad condition. Everyday it gets more expensive charging you for things that you don't use.the maintenance payment does not get properly use to keep the gym clean and up to date. I even canceled my membership last month and they still charged me an extra month because I had to let them know 30 days before my next payment. I don't recommend this gym to anyone.
This place has seen better days. Still, not too bad if this is your only option. They have a weird fee three months after joining. Crazy people put up with it.

I just came back to the gym after been gone for my competitions and the gym is way worst now the ambience is bad they put bachata music or reaggeaton to work out like come on is a gym they suppose to put gym music hard core gym music the place is a mess there not any trainers in there I'm not coming back to this gym I don't recoment this gym to any one at all.

Demasiado sucio. El cuarto de tanning nunca esta limpio no tiene papel las maquinas estan dañadas nunca tienen el soporte para poner el pes. Muy descuidado el lugar. Lastimosamente el dueño no hace nAda para mantener el gimnasio limpio y las maquinas en buen estado. Por eso mucha gente se a ido a otros sitios.
If I could give them lower than a 1 star, I would. Most machines are broken, the place stinks all over the place and very poor management. This place should absolutely get closed. Please stop wasting your time and try to go to planet fitness or any local gym that offers a lower price and much better environment.

I got enrolled a some point in my life, staff was rude, i brought a friend to get a tour at the gym and was not aloud to get the tour.
Anyways parking is extremely complicated if you ever get to find one, and the gym was most of the time full of ppl.
Hope they keep improving by now.

I can't say one single good thing about this place. It used to be ok place. Now it is just trash
I really rather not deal with this gym honestly, they make minors sign contracts as if they know what their signing which is a crime, but it's all about the money for them I see. They don't even have parking, nobody there speaks proper English, the sauna never works, staff is useless as well as the manager. I've been calling to speak with the manager for months the staff always tells me she'll call me back but she never does, the staff told me she comes in at 6pm, I called at 6:30PM I was told by the same staff that the manager isn't there yet that I should give her some time because she never comes in on time. I cancelled my membership, I don't have their time for games.
Bad place to work out. Dumbbells are never in place. Running machines never worrking , weight machines when the break ,it takes them a month and a half to get them fixed. Paper, water bottles always all over the floor. Saturdays open from 7am to 7pm...it's a lie. They never come on time , always 10 ,15 and half an our late. Week days, girl at front desk is very rude. She wont even bother in saying good morning .
Today is saturday 02/24/18 7:39am. Club still close. They tell you to go to front desk to discuss whatever issue you see, but when you go to front desk , there is never a manger , supervisor or owner. No one keep maintance , but they do withdraw from your bank account money maintance fee.Every day we spend 10 minutes cleaning and puting everything back in the racks, the should pay us instead of charging us montly, we do the cleaning. This place is a joke. No wonder they keep losing customer over near by gyms.

I have been in the Elizabeth location for a few time now. It's close to my house however normally in the Newark location to be close to my job and have a early workout.
Today I come in the girl at the desk acted like she did not want to even be bothered. She was on her phone. She did even stand up to greet the guest. Whatever that's not what made me judge this place. So as I said I work out to in the morning than go to work. Lol I went to shower. There was 3 showers 2 did not have hot one and did not even look like it was clean. Out of all 3 showers there was only one with a shower curtain nor rods and a floor mate. Of course my luck it had to be the one that has no hot water. So what I did, i played maintains person and took the rod woth the shower curtain and moved it to the only shower that had hot water along with the mate. Lol no wonder I never saw ppl shower here. #never again
This is a great place to workout and sweat. Great customer service and staff. Nice and big gym and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend going here.
Metro gym and their employees are always helpful and knowledgeable of their products to refresh during an intense work out as well as attentive if help needed with weights and exercises .
Club metro Elizabeth is a great place to be. A lot of parking. Very fun environment. The people are nice
I've been coming here since they opened and Atleast before they said hello the f-Ing staff now doesn't even greet you so it's like why tf are you working here if you're just gonna stand there save money and fire those a holes thanks. I Only come here Cus it's close besides that the place sucks
So decided I didn't like the gym after a year and decided to cancel my membership, I went in signed the papers. The lady said I would be charged one more time, mind you, don't even go there anymore, fine whatever, as long as it's cancelled. A month later I ama charged again ! Filing a complaint against them as they are trying to scam me when the membership is suppose to be cancelled! If i didnt keep track of my finances they would continue to charge me ! Also every front desk person seems to have an attitude, don't get mad at me because you hate your job
I love the classes in this place, but there is not enough classes in the morning and even they cancelled the classes because of the summer. They need to have enough classes in the morning no matter the season.
Probably one of the worst gyms I have ever been to.
Cons: It is very dirty everywhere and you can tell that they do not maintain their outdated equipment. There is also an extreme shortage of weight plates which is a complete joke. You can't even use the machines half the time because there are no plates to put on! That is fine though I'll just do 800 reps for a set.
Pros: It is only slightly better than your average Holiday Inn gym.
