I used to drive by this gym all the time and wondered what it was like inside. I initially went here because i had plateaued in my training and i wanted to try my first personal trainer. So I joined this gym and they immediately linked me up with the best trainer in the world. This gym has everything. No nonsense gym. Great staff and amazing shakes for after your workout. Within this gym is also a full nutrition center, Apollon Nutrition. This gym also hosts cool gatherings with body builders and power lifters. If you want a no nonsense gym, this is your spot. It isn't some fairy commercial gym. There is no doubt that members of this gym are family. Also has showers and lockers, big plus.

I was welcomed into Apollon Gym back in 2013. It is a gym dedicated to those serious about training and it has had many pro-athletes call Apollon their home base for training. I'm glad I joined and I couldn't imagine training elsewhere.
If your decison on what gym to join is based on how fancy it is or how many amenities it has (pool, basketball court, etc.) then look away. If you actually want to make a change in your appearance then you hit the jackpot. Very serious environment, properly working equipment, and a courteous staff!
Best hard core gym on East coast. If you travel or live Middlesex county you have to become a member. No extra fees here)))))
Old school is a great way to look at this place, the environment is intense, but everyone here becomes family. With so much knowledge and experience to go around, no matter what it is you strive to do in fitness this place will help you grow in a way you never thought was possible prior to joining.

Amazing gym with amazing equipment and awesome staff, especially Mike behind the counter. Very standup guy, makes sure everything is good and even spotted me a few times when I asked.

I am so glad I found this gym! It's a very old school gym that is equipped with machines that you cannot find at a lot of other gyms (which is exactly what I was looking for). The monthly rate is affordable and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The members are also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

After shuffling through coporate gyms i joined after a few drop in days. My only regret is not joining sooner. It has the old school vibe with no nonsense feel. The staff is the most polite and helpful people you will ever meet and when you ask for help or workout questions they actually answer your questions not just try and sell you on training. There is so much knowledge and expirence between members and staff anyone would benefit from joining here

The best gym in central New Jersey by a mile! It has all the best old school equipment that I've ever seen. The weights are always in the right spots. The staff is incredibly helpful with all my needs. There's nothing like it! I highly recommend this gym to anyone who's serious into fitness
Apollon is One if America's top 10 hardcore gyms for a reason - it's f***ing HARDCORE! Everyone in the gym is serious about their goals and that level of commitment is contagious. The staff and even other members are extremely helpful. If you have questions, don't be intimidated by the 300 pound guy squatting 1,000lbs! Chances are that he is the sweetest and strongest guy you'll ever have the pleasure to work with.
I love lifting here!!! You walk in the energy hits you in the face instantly!! The ppl who lift here don't play games and are all serious....but serious enough to not judge or talk down on anyone...ive been coming here for over 2 years an have never seen, felt, or even heard of any body shaming. I can honestly say I've never been to a gym like this and prob never will!!! But remember it's a gym not a fitness club!!!
I was told years ago that this gym is so hardcore that Dorian Yates trains people there when he's in the area. So of course I had to go one day. I finally had the chance to do so and it was totally worth the drive. It's so hard to find a hardcore/specialty gym that's affordable has just about everything you need such as powerlifting styles benches and monolifts for squatting, as well as hard to find pieces of equipment such as th Hip Belt Squat Machine. If I lived closer to the place it would without a doubt be my main gym.
I absolutely love this gym, feels like home to me. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk too. Always willing to help whenever you need. Along with that everyone who goes there is super friendly and helpful, I've not had one bad experience yet and I've been attending for over a month. As a powerlifter, they have everything I need and more to train efficiently, multiple squat racks, bars, weights, machines. They're always playing either metal or rap, which is fantastic considering those are my two favorite types of music. Overall I love this place, and I recommend it to everyone, whether your a body builder, powerlifter, physique, or just an average person trying to get a good workout. Great environment for everyone!
